What are the chances of ovulating first month off the pill!

Ladies... I'm 2 weeks into ttc #1. How likely is it that I will ovulate this first month off my pill? I'm a very impatient person so trying desperately to relax and see what happens. Has anyone out there been lucky enough to conceive straight away?!

Mixed and random! I came off in aug and have yet to ov... Two cycles of 40 plus days and no positive strong opks. Sorry!

I ovulated my first month off the pill, although we weren't ttc officially then as I wanted to let my cycles settle a bit, so it can and does happen!!! I was on Microgynon then Cilest for 13 years....

Toots... How long had you been on pill for?

Tessie... What were your signs of ovulating first month?

Trying to work out my cycle is going to be hard but guess I just need to wait until first bleed following withdrawel bleed.

I think it just depends. I did after coming off it this time having been on it for 16months after having Ds I have gone straight back to my pre ds cycle. But when I came off it to have Ds I didn't have a period for 6 months. How long had you been on it?

Been on it for over ten years because originally went on at 15 to help my skin and heavy periods (tmi)! How long did it take you to get caught with DS?

When i conceived my first dc I'd been on the pill (diannette) for over 10th years. I never goty period after taking my last pill. I thought my body was taking ages to get back to normal but I was in fact pregnant. It can happen but obviously everyone's different.

Boyle three years since I had a few months unplanned break as I broke my back - but in total 13 years. Wish I had come off it months before I thought about ttc!!! Makes me mad with frustration my cycle is fecked up!

I came off in August & had nothing for almost 3 months.

I too am impatient so did a 5 day course of Soy Isoflavones & OV'd 5 days after my last dose. See my thread on here about it, it's called 'soy brought back my OV'

Thanks ladies that's a great help!! I'm so excited to be trying but guilty of over thinking everything. Think I best start looking at ways of plotting and improving chances of ovulating. Will symptoms of ovulating be obvious? Or could I not even notice?

Hey guys bit different but I have a question. Which day do u class as day 1 of dpo? I got my cb dual hormone opk and I had my solid smiley on the 25th of November. Am I 9 or 10 dpo?

Hi, I became pregnant on the second month off the pill! Had been on it for 10years, so was a bit shocked that it happened so quickly!My LO is now 15 weeks old! Good luck to you!

I did. Stopped pill Xmas pregnant in January. After 15 years on combined pill and we were not ttc :-)

Hi, I got pregnant first month off the pill too. I reckon (unscientific opinion ...) you have just as much chance conceiving in the first month as any other.

I've been on the pill good 20 years and just recently come off it! It's been two months. No pressure just seeing how things go.

I had a real big and bad period after stopping the pill. And it just happened not long after.
I thought I would have problems with being 42 and on the pill for most of my life.
But we were blessed with a baby girl.

Neither. November hasn't happened yet!

OP I got pregnant within a month of coming off the pill when we TTC. It could happen for you straight away or take a few months. Good luck.

I came off the pill after 8 years and was pregnant only a few weeks later. It can happen!
