2ww :( any buddies?

Hey girls I'm 5DPO! It feels like it's taken ages even to get to this point! Had a free symptoms ie bloating, peeling a lot! And sicky feelings here and there!
Anyone wanna join me in this horrible waiting phase?

I agree the 2ww is torture! can I ask you all - how are you handling keeping it from people? or are you sharing with people close to you? I haven't told anyone that we're TTC and I'm finding it really hard not being able to share how I'm feeling with anyone/seek advice from family etc. part of me worries that if I discussed any of it with family who already have children they would be unsympathetically rolling their eyes at my manic symptom watching etc, which would make me feel silly. is it silly to talk to others, should it be kept private? I'm also wondering at this stage how much everyone else is changing their diets /lifestyles etc eg cutting down on alcohol and caffeine? I'm sure these things would be picked up on by my family. please advise/ share your thoughts!

OH has been on about ttc for a while now, so he excited but obvs doesn't get the whole ovulation, 2ww stuff so is pretty much just waiting to me to let him know the result [whilst texting me everyday asking if i still feel sick]

bean- as for telling people OH and one of my house-mates are the only people iv told about it, although i haven't told her all about the crazy symptom spotting as she would literally look at me like i was the crazy baby lady [which i apparently am, especially when it comes to boots baby aisle]

we had decided a few months ago that one we are actively ttc alcohol and cigarettes would be cut out, neither of us drink that much anyway...

Just assumed I'd be there by now. Sigh. Onto next month. Just feels like we've been trying forever! Been since Christmas really though I know some months are more likely than others in that time. Think I just need to tell the other half we need to get bonking and that's that lol

8dpo here. Felt a bit icky last night & this morning but I feel like I'm imagining every symptom & it's probably nothing to do with being upduffed!

I've no self control so probably test on Friday so I know whether to enjoy a drink or not but really for shits & giggles

Sorry to hear you're out Fruity I can understand your frustration - it took is 21 months to TTC dc#1 and that first year I found the hardest. The second year I got really proactive and started nagging my GP for tests & next steps; is this something you've considered?

well tested again this morn... no idea why as i knew id be disappointed! BFN of course, but feeling sicky again today so still holding out some small shred of hope!

I'm still in this morning! Much to my surprise. The world is spinning and making me feel sick every time I close my eyes but I'm pretty sure that's more due to crashing off caffeine than any meaningful symptoms (just to answer last nights question - despite a ten year serious addiction I am now caffeine-free! Not quite alcohol free but only had a glass of wine or two in last couple of weeks)

Definitely still not testing yet.

I've got AF type cramps today, due on Friday. Keep feeling boobs are tender but I think they've just been prodded too much!

bean sore boobs can also be a sign of pregnancy so don't rule yourself out yet.

i think maybe iv just been staring at it for wayy too long, in different lighting...repeatedly. i think im actually loosing it! i thought i could see a line...im not so sure now!

I may be able to see a line but wouldn't put money on it! Was that with fmu?

aha crispie how i didnt cave that early i have NO idea! i need to just try and forget about it until monday (ish) when af is due, and then retest if it doesnt turn up...
