BFP stats

thought it would be nice to have a stats post for when people get their bfps to give others hope. please detail ur age, other children, edd (if known) and how long you were trying for ur bfp! (and anyother information u feel like sharing ie. ur methods, medication etc etc)

wishing, was hoping the post didn't come across as smug as genuinely wanted ppl to know that you don't always have to follow all the 'rules' to get a result. Also wanted to stress the point to keep 'doing it' till after the temp rise...hope you get the bfp soon.

Hi there, got my bfp for first baby after 14 months, I'm 36 and so is dh. We didn't try anything special apart from dh taking Wellman supplements. Had been referred to assisted conception unit when I got my bfp, had had some tests done, bloods, pcos scan and hsg (really painful, possibly cleared away a minor blockage as I got bfp three months later) I'm convinced we got our bfp because we had sex every day for five days across the window, two days before ov, on the day of ov and two days after ov. Previously we'd been following docs advice and bd'ing every other day, but perhaps it's just coincidence! Good luck to everyone else ttc xx

Becaroo 34, dh 35, ds 3.5 edd 7/11/07. Only trying for 1 month so very surprised! Did the pillow under the bum thing, but nothing else. Good luck everyone x
