Bfp or invalid test???

So AF isn't due until Monday but I have been feeling extremely queasy plus I had HG in my first pregnancy. I (probably stupidly) took a test around 2 hours ago which tbh (and possibly tmi) I struggled to wee on enough as recommended I didn't see a result straight away and after a minute put it on the side and thought oh well that was a waste - too early to test!

BUT about 30 mins ish after I did the test I popped back into the bathroom to run my sons bath and there is a definite faint line there. So is this a BFP or just an invalid test as too much time had expired??

Anyone else have this issue?

Will test again in the morning but interested to know your thoughts

30mins is longer than recommended but I would say that could be a bfp as it is a definite line and darker gab evaps I have seen. Do another tomorrow morning first thing! Good luck!

So does an evaporation line happen when the test has been done for too long?

I had a line on a test like that - about 30 mins later- she will be 13 soon.....

Really don't want to get my hopes up but fingers crossed it is a bfp! Even though wouldn't it be too early as AF isn't due til Sunday/monday

Yes evaps generally show up after the time limit and are faint and colourless. But fx it is a bfp!

This is definitely not colourless! If they are colourless how can you see to tell if it's an evap line?

Eeek!!' Will still test tomoro with FMU. The fact that im already feeling sick does not bode well after my experiences last time!!!

I got a faint positive at 9dpo so sometimes positives appear very early (she's 10 months now). I think that looks like a real line but you need to test again to be sure.

Looks like a bfp to me! Pink dye is so much more reliable than blue. How exciting! I bet your preggers. :-)

I hope so! Part of me thinks I can't be that lucky though, it's only cycle 2 of TTC and we fell pregnant in the first cycle with my son!

I got one like that on the Friday afternoon and the one I then took on the Saturday morning was positive. She's now 16 weeks old and asleep next to me.

Came up within about 3-5 mins but what is making me doubt things is I have period pain!

I had those cramps. It was the uterus expanding making room for baby

Def pg, you rarely get evap lines on decent tests. Cramps are auote normal, hang in there. Congrats x

cannot concentrate at work today!! Do you think I should test again when AF is late to make sure?

Hello I tested everyday with my son's pregnancy so I certainly wouldn't be in the best place to say you shouldn't. However it might be better just to get a standard digi, check it says 'pregnant' and then stop testing. Those conception indicator tests can be really stressful if they don't jump up the month increments at the right time so I would advise leaving those on the shelf.

Definitely looks like a BPF to me - congratulations! Are you sure of when you ovulated as you may be further along than you think by a few days?
