Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

I'm truly amazed at the willpower of some of you ladies holding out on POAS! I keep thinking I'll manage it but inevitably cave! When we were TTC #1 (cycle 4, and eventually BFP) I actually told DH to hide my tests until AF was due. It was hard but it worked Grin. Might have to repeat the exercise....

Lovethebubbles · 09/09/2014 20:01

I'm not feeling hopeful now. Have bad period type pains in my tummy and back. I have endometriosis so do suffer with pains at this time of the month. I remember still having them when I found out I was pregnant with my DD but I can't remember how strong they were then. Are they normally mild period type pains when you are first pregnant?

otter32 · 09/09/2014 20:16

Step away from the sticks! I regret giving in! I will wait til mon before I take my next one.

I'm proper moody today but I'm certain it's period related. So feeling poo. Wine time I reckon!

CostaLotta · 09/09/2014 20:38
Blush

I have no willpower.

And it was BFN anyway.

ScaryMartian · 09/09/2014 20:38

CandyPop- ov buddies- I like it! I'm away next week and won't have a chance to buy any hpts. If AF doesn't show (I normally start spotting from about 10dpo) I won't have the opportunity to test until at least 14/15dpo. Shock that is unheard of for me. Do you think you can hold out with me?!

Coffee- dunno about ov'ing twice in a month. Maybe your body geared up before but the egg failed to pop. Do you temp?

Lovethebubbles- I vaguely remember period type pains early on with DS and I've heard a lot of people say that early pg symptoms are the same as AF. Fx for you.

Mish- I'm still impressed you managed to get to 10dpo without testing. You are defo the star pupil!!

Welcome Bobian Smile

Otter- I'll join you with the wine. We have had a nightmare evening- among other things DS did a massive adult sized shit on the carpet today. I had to scoop it up like a dog poo. Makes me wonder why I'm so desperate to do it all again?!

CandyPop · 09/09/2014 20:50

mish I am away next week too! .... Question is ... Am I going to take a stick with me??!! ... Are you?!?!

otter32 · 09/09/2014 20:55

Haha scarymartian that made me laugh.

Stupid thing is, I'm friends with my first ex bf on Facebook and tonight he posted a pic of his newborn son.

Feeling very sorry for myself Sad

ScaryMartian · 09/09/2014 20:58

Here have some of my Wine

CandyPop · 09/09/2014 21:08

Sorry mish I meant scary Martian in my last post!

ScaryMartian · 09/09/2014 21:33

I don't think I will take any hpts with me next week Candy, I know I'll just obsess about it and I want to relax!

I've just been reading a thread in active convos where everyone is posting their fave jokes. If you need cheering up I recommend taking a look! I love a crap joke.

otter32 · 09/09/2014 21:35

Oh I'm cracking on with mine! Thanks scarymartian

None of my friends are trying. Most of them have kids already. I feel like I can't talk to anyone about this.

Oops. The alcohol is getting to me! Roll on cd1 so I can focus on the potential of next month Smile

ScaryMartian · 09/09/2014 21:50

I've just noticed some brown spotting.

I'm only 4dpo, surely my progesterone isn't that low at this stage? My luteal phase could be super short this month. No chance for a little bean to stick. Aargh. Sad

ScaryMartian · 09/09/2014 21:56

Or it could be that I did some quite rigorous yoga yesterday-I have cervical erosion so it could have irritated it. Fingers crossed its that.

MishMooshAndMogwai · 09/09/2014 22:31

Fingers crossed scary! PMA!

I'm away this weekend so think I'll text Thursday or Friday before we go. We're away camping (argh!) with dd and dss Friday-Sunday. I think if I buy a clear blue tomorrow then do it on Thursday or Friday (by which time I'll be....12/13 dpo) that'll be accurate enough won't it?

otter32 · 09/09/2014 22:40

Unless you have early implantation Martian? Fx!!

whitwoochantelle · 10/09/2014 08:31

Im hol ding out till monday although wine is sounding tempting scary martian I burst out laughing at that! Admiring the glares in office now! Xx

Bobian123 · 10/09/2014 10:05

Thanks Martian - I feel your pain with the poo - I'm dealing with teething poo at the moment. The kind where the smell just lodges in the back of your throat for a good while after...sorry, tmi...

Like Otter said -Was also thinking your spotting could be implantation? FX!!!

I had sore boobs last night - I distinctly remember a total lack of sore boobs when preg with DS1 so not feeling too hopeful. Am going to attempt to wait til Sat to test (when I'll be 12 dpo.) Mish reckon 12 dpo should give an accurate reading! Good luck!!

Rawls · 10/09/2014 10:28

Morning all - martian I agree, that could be an implantation bleed. Exciting!

Well done all you ladies that are holding out til 12dpo - I am sure that is going to be accurate. Last month I got a lot of hope (false hope but still) from a site which tells you what percentage of pregnant women get false negatives and the day they test. I will see if I can link it!

I feel nothing here, TBH not holding out much hope this month as I was away for three of my five (ish) most fertile days, but we'll see. Only 3 dpo, but I love reading everyone else's results - so exciting so keep us all posted!

Who is trying for what number? as in first baby, second etc? XX

Wharm14 · 10/09/2014 10:31

Hello Ladies,
I've been lurking for a while but wanted to say hello and hopefully get some mutual support! I'm 16 dpo, no AF yet and lots of symptoms including very high temps, cramping, constipation (sorry TMI!) sore boobs and tingling nipples. Oh, and some pretty spectacular mood swings, which my poor DH has bourne the brunt of! POAS on Monday - BFN. POAS last night and thought I had a very, very , very faint line, even my DH thought he could see something. I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights and last night was no exception. Woke up this morning and temp is still very high, but POAS and it was a BFN Confused Swore I would wait to Saturday to test again and see if AF shows in the meantime. Got to work this morning and had a very light bit of spotting. Sad
So can I join in and wait out the rest of this week with you guys?!
Good Luck to everyone!

RainyLion · 10/09/2014 10:49

Ok so I accidentally just bought some tests when I was in boots getting dd some stuff for her cold. There are now tests in the house and I feel compelled to pee on them! I think I'm 12dpo. Was hoping to wait til period due. Anyone with me?! Grin

Rawls · 10/09/2014 10:59

Hello Wharm that all sounds very exciting but stressful! I have always read that you cannot get a false positive so if you saw a line AT ALL - you are preggo? Hope you find out soon one way or another - the waiting is killer!

rainylion I am not with you but shamelessly saying DO IT DO IT and report back!

Lovethebubbles · 10/09/2014 11:32

I'm out this month Sad to make me feel even worse my cycle was 26 days this month, which it has never been. I normally have 28-30 day cycles. Also, I always always have painful ovulation pains for a day every month, without fail (I have endometriosis), but this was the first month I haven't had any pain. Could no ovulation and a short cycle be connected? I'm trying to remain positive that this has been the first month that it has ever happened. I'm so paranoid because of my condition and I worry it'll affect us being able to conceive again. Had no problems with DD who is now nearly 4. Feel very down in the dumps today.
I really hope that we get a good number of BFP's on this thread. Good luck ladiesThanks

Rawls · 10/09/2014 12:16

Sorry to hear that Lovethebubbles it is gutting. Gutting. I don't know whether the short cycle is connected BUT I do know that lots of women with endometriosis conceive naturally (my friend is due any day with number 2 after being convinced her endometriosis had scuppered her plans!) and remember that your percentage to conceive each month isn't huge anyway. What I mean is: even if you didn't have it you might not have conceived this month, its a blimmin miracle that anyone ever does really looking at the stats! Today is the first day of your next cycle which is really positive. Good luck!

otter32 · 10/09/2014 12:18

Big hugs lovethebubbles

I won't say anything else cos it won't make it feel any better! Don't think I'll be far behind you, getting lots of cramping at I guess 10dpo. Feels like af is on her way.

Bobian123 · 10/09/2014 12:42

Really sorry to hear that Lovethebubbles, sending hugs. Keep the faith x
