Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Hi everyone, just been catching up on the thread - I posted a few weeks ago and then something weird happened with the 'Threads I'm On' link and I lost track. Hope everyone is doing ok and congrats to Mooley and others on their bfps!

I'm currently on cd28 - last two cycles have been 30 days. Have been feeling really nauseous on and off for the last three days and have lost my appetite but not sure whether it's because I've also got a rotten cold. Should I POAS or wait it out for another few days? Help!

welcome back 59! Well I'm the last person to ask as I start POAS at 9 dpo (for all the good it does me!) So i would say, if your cycles are 30 days and you're on 28....test

Thanks Bobian! I was unusually restrained on my way home and didn't go in either of the two chemists that I passed to buy a test - it's chucking it down with rain as well so no chance of me going out again. I'm sure I will crack tomorrow though or AF will come and get me. Grr...

Now 2 weeks late and no AF and only the faintest possible line on frer which hasn't got any darker. So I'm off to the gp for a blood test tomorrow to see what's what... Fingers crossed!

According to OVia I'm on cd19 and I've checked and my clearblue positive was 10 days ago. But haven't dtd nearly enough around ov time ( if I actually ovulated!)

Am I right that it is a year before going to gp?

Yes, I think if you want to have tests about fertility etc then they make you wait a year generally.

I'm only having a blood test to see whether I'm pregnant so they don't make you wait for that.

Hi guys, do you think it's possible to notice symptoms 3/4 days after ovulation? I swear my mind is playing tricks on me! I'm only on cycle 1 and 3dpo today but strange transparent cervical mucus (tmi) and stomach feels odd, plus lots of wind. Could just be me though lol!

59 i salute you! You are a stronger woman than me. I have now run out of IC's but have just ordered another batch

Crystal I think sometimes CM can be a bit different early on, but one thing I've learnt is that when you're actively TTC, you do start noticing stuff you might not have before! However, that's not to dash any hopes - plenty of ppl fall preg on the first go! I think most noticeable symptoms would begin after implantation (5-10 days dpo? ish?)

Maybe just jot down symptoms day by day - it's useful if you don't fall preg this month to be able to look back at what your body has been doing.

Sound well done on the will power to not test. I think you should though. Symptoms sound promising and your so close to suspected AF that a test should be pretty accurate!

Crystal at 3dpo you are probably experiencing an estrogen surge, this can sometimes cause weird CM and is common at this point in the 2ww. I know it's so hard not to symptom spot but the eggy will still be making its journey down the Fallopian tube and at this early stage your body won't even know you are upduffed.

Scary how are we doing? Any ov signs yet?

Well I'm 19dpo today temps are now officially triphasic buying worried because on 13dpo I took a clear blue digi and it said pregnant 1-2 which was fine. I took another yesterday afternoon (so not FMU!) and it's still saying the same thing. I'm worried that twiglet has stopped growing!! I know I should stop testing and what will be will be but I'm a bit stressed about it now. I'm off today so might get an FRER to see if the lines even darker than the last.

Sorry to rant when so many are still trying but I've got nowhere else to go

AF has finished early - does that mean I might ovulate earlier? I bought some IC ovulation sticks but when should I start using them & what exactly does it mean if I get a positive? Does it mean I should start trying then or wait 24 hours?

Babybump how long is your cycle? OPKs usually come with instructions on when to start testing based on your cycle length. I normally start around CD11/12 and dtd every other day until I confirm ovulation with a temp rise. Usually after your first positive you can expect to ov anywhere from 12 to 36 hours. Exciting times

Thanks for letting me rant. I didn't have this with DD as lines and digis gave normal readings all the time. I probably should stop testing now!!!!

I'm out, AF got me this morning, a day early . Had a good cry and now thinking onwards and upwards...

Mooley defo continue the ranting as much as you want, this is such a worrying time so you need to vent somewhere.

I have a bit of a dilemma. I have had loads of EWCM today and am starting to get my normal ov skin breakout but no positive OPK yet. We dtd last night. I am tempted to miss tonight and go again tomorrow as I think that I will ov on Saturday and hopefully will get positive opk tomorrow.

The reason I'm tempted to miss today is to give dh's swimmers a chance to refresh. We dtd every day over ov the last 2 months with no success so maybe it's time to try a different tactic?

The thing is I'm worried I'm thinking too much into it and I shouldn't waste today's copious EWCM! I'm terrified of doing the wrong thing and of missing the boat.

With DS we only dtd twice, 3 days before then the day before ov.

I am sat here staring at my opk willing it to get darker. I'm really not happy unless I'm staring at a piss covered stick am I?!

martian I'm pretty sure DTD every day is fine unless there's known to be something amiss with DH's sperm? I totally understand where you're coming from - I'm in month 3 and we've always DTD every day...if I don't fall preg this month I'd be tempted to review the process! However, I would say DTD every day is just fine.

There maybe someone along with more scientifically researched advice though

I'm roughly 11dpo and POAS earlier (not FMU - slapped wrist). I absent-mindedly shoved the strip in my jeans pocket and found it again a while later. There is the faintest of lines (real squinting job) but I believe this is because the IC got a bit mangled in my jeans.

So i've now given myself a glimmer of, probably, false hope. Will test again first thing tomorrow to see if any luck. x

Aw, thanks so much for all the support. You guys are great. Am thinking I might need to do something really impractical next month as a sort of reverse jinx, if that makes sense?! When we were trying to conceive DD and nothing was happening, I went out and bought a bike and signed up for the London to Brighton bike ride - I think we conceived her that night!

Tested with FMU and i think there is a very very faint line. DH can see it too, and he never gets line eye! However, it did appear after about 20 mintues I reckon so am concerned it's maybe an evap. I guess this is the downside about testing before AF is due. Last time, I had DH confiscate the ICs until the day AF was due, then i got a nice clear line. Now, we're holding it up to various different lights and squinting a lot...

Guess I just have to wait until tomorrow
