Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Thanks scary I'm going to count today's as a positive I think; I can always change it on FF if tomorrow's is negative. I normally get 2 days of positives so it should be much clearer tomorrow.

Interesting scary - if it doesn't work out this month I'll be chowing down on the grapefruit next month!

I felt a bit pre-AF last night so not hopeful. But, not over til she shows I guess!

Just wanted to say.... This is so hard!!, it is all so consuming and it's all I think about ... As you can tell, I'm pretty much a planner and this is one thing you cannot control.

I've heard that stress hormones can affect TTC but I can't help but feel a little stress!

Anyways back to micro analysis...... CD15 so couple days from the TWW, no more period like cramps so definitely have ovulated. DTD last night ... Another tonight .... Not sure if we're gonna be able to do it tomorrow but I think we have good coverage! So DTD CD9, CD11,CD12, CD13 (positive OPK and cramps) , CD14 and will have CD15. What do you think? (sorry way too much info here but it makes me feel better when I write it down! )

bobian pre-Af symptoms are very much like pregnancy symptoms so you can never tell! When are you due?

candypop I reckon you've safely covered all bases!! I agree it's very difficult to think about other things.

I'm due on or around the 9th (usually am like clockwork but only came off the pill recently and am a little out of sync. Last night, I had twinges low down on the right (which i was convinced was implantation last month but obv wasn't!) and sore boobs. With my first, I had a noticeable lack of sore boobs but I know every preg is different. Holding out POAS today - very proud of myself! Waiting til tomorrow when I'll be 10dpo, although I know that's also v early (didn't show up at 10/11dpo last time!)

Hopefully one of us at least will get that lovely BFP this month!

candy you have def covered your bases - you go girl I think tonight should be enough to be honest especially as you have already ov'd.

Bobian it's so hard not testing! With my last I just knew I was pg and tested positive at 8dpo (very faint line in pm) and had a positive digi at 9dpo. So as you said, 10dpo is very possible to get a pos especially if you implanted early. Ooooo fx'd

I did 2 OPKs and both were very negative so not sure what's going on but DTD tonight regardless. Still got EWCM so have to wait and see what my temps do, although we are going out tonight and alcohol can have an adverse affect on BBT!!! ack well not often we are without DD so going to make the most of it!

We DTD tonight after deciding that having one child affects your stamina in both drinking and staying up late. 10:10pm is very late for us. Thankfully we managed to DTD befor it got too late.

I just bought it .... I said that I wouldn't buy any until nearer the end of TWW but now it's going to be mentally torturing me as it sits in my bathroom cupboard

I am now officially in my TWW.

mooley good job last night... I know what you mean though. I have to say, the preseed stuff is amazing , without it and don't think we could have done it so often!. Have you had a +be in OPK yet? I think the best thing to do is DTD regardless. Some ppl miss it the surge without detecting it but doesn't mean they haven't ovulated .

I tested this morning and it looks kinda positive so like you said just going to keep DTD until all signs indicate ov has passed. I'll test again in a bit and see what happens. Trying to hold my wee for as long as possible. We are scheduled some more sexy time tomorrow! Hard work this TTC malarkey

I need your help again. I think this might almost be positive. Never had the issue of not knowing what's positive and what's not but these are really throwing me!!!

Not an expert on it but this was my positive . I didn't have any line day before or after this . I would assume it is and just carry on DTD . Are you sticking with EOD ? If so then just carry on

AF due tomorrow or Monday. I stared at the test kits in super drug today and bought frolic acid instead!* I have AF style cramps but I've had them for most of the week which is unusual for me. I'm mentally preparing myself for AF but easier said than done ... Met a friend for lunch today and she bought clothes for her one year old, me feeling very resigned to it not happening for us for a while. ESP as blood test came back with a progesterone result which too much googling says is a tiny bit too low for supporting implantation. Yah boo sucks and all that. Wine is needed.

My stats - cycle #2 TTC#2 DD is 2

Candy every other cycle my OPKs have been that dark, just can't make any sense out of them. Like you said I'm just going to keep DTD until I'm certain that I'm no longer fertile. Bloody confusing though. My last 2 temps have been super high and I'm worried that it's because of having a little drinky and I may have actually missed the temp drop!! Just have to wait and see.

bobian cramps at 11dpo could be implantation!! What's your LP? Do you normally cramp before AF? sorry for the BFN but 10dpo is still early.

Mooley not totally sure what my LP is. If it doesn't happen this month I'll track things better next month! Never temped before either - would you say it's useful/worth it? I do indeed normally cramp before AF so thinking it's that. Not long now and I'll find out for sure, so we can crack on with next month! x

Its so frustrating bobian!! I would def recommend temping as it lets you know when you've actually ov'd and also gives a heads up when the witch will arrive (my temp normally drops the morning of AF). Makes me feel more in control too!

Mooley, those opks look good. Any hint of ov yet? Do you get pains? My body is being v.sluggish. After 3 days of lovely ewcm I finally got my +ve opk today. No ov pains as yet. Dh and I have dtd 3 nights in a row, plan to dtd again tonight so hope I ov soon as I think tomorrow night will be pushing it in terms of stamina!
No hint of any ov pains which I usually get.

Ooh, since we are sharing line pics and I love a good line (even if it is an opk) here is mine from today. I take it that I'm defo ov'ing soon!

I don't usually get ov pains so can only go off OPKs and temps. Neither of which are proving very useful at present. My lines just aren't getting any darker at all! Scary that's a lovely dark line. Ov is just around the corner! Whoop!

Well my temp dipped spectacularly this morning. YEY so I am definitely ov'ing today. We managed to DTD last night so not actually going to do it today and then will do it tomorrow. I want to make sure that the best quality spermies are in there waiting for the egg and I have heard that sometimes DTD ED can reduce the quality of the spermies, so although I know that I should DTD tonight, as it is ov day, I am certain that bases have been covered with the EOD method we have been following, so will DTD again tomorrow to make sure and then wait and see what happens.

Although I said that if we didn't catch the egg this month then we would take a break, we have actually decided not to because there is no gaurantee that the egg will be caught before Xmas anyway, so might as well keep plodding on with it. In all honesty I just want another baby, so bugger when they might be born!!!

Candy how far into the 2ww are you? Any twinges of note?

Woop for the temp dip mooley, good plan with the dtd schedule.

Also hoorah for no break! We thought about it long and hard and both just want a baby and decided for us a smaller age gap is what we want rather than avoiding a summer born. (famous last words- it'll take us YEARS to conceive now and it'll be born on the 31st Aug!)

I woke up with my usual ov pains this morning (horrible) so I'm hoping that was it. Had a temp dip too.

Managed to dtd last night so if the egg did pop this am then the timing was perfect. I don't think poor dh can muster another tonight anyway. Do you reckon we'll be ok to miss today?

Scary its spooky that we are not only ov'ing at the same time, but that are sex schedule is almost identical. I can't muster the energy to DTD again tonight so we are also skipping it. Sperm can live for up to at least 5 days in the right conditions, so I am sure that you will be fine if you skip tonight. Gives those best swimmers a good chance to get to the egg! I am planning to DTD again tomorrow, wait for a sustained thermal shift and then call time on the sex for this cycle!

TTC is taking over my life again. I thought it would be different 2nd time around, but i think it might be worse.

No news from me yet, thanks for asking ladies. I did another sneaky test yesterday but no luck. Am now 12dpo and have run out of tests, which might be a good thing. There also might be a delivery arriving from Amazon today containing 5 more. Oops. Actually hope they don't arrive for a couple more days so I can't be tempted!

Swinging between feeling like AF is def on the way and keeping that glimmer of hope! Glad i'm near the end of the TWW either way. WHY does it feel so long?

I agree that I thought I'd be relaxed TTC #2 but it seems not! Anyone else feeling nervous about the prospect of having a newborn AND a toddler?!
