can anyone help me figure out what my body has done this week?

Hi all
Just wondered if anyone can help me unravel what my body has done over the past weekPout….here goes...apologies for the length of the post...

wed 20 aug - smiley face on opk. bd.
thur 21 aug - now flashing smiley on opk. bd. left ov pain started.
fri 22 aug - solid smiley on opk. ov pain. bd
sat 23 aug - woke to REALLY BAD ov pain on left side. didn't test on opk. bd. checked cervix and really low, really open and soft.
sun 24 aug - ov pain easier. cervix same. bd. didn't test on opk.
mon 25 aug - ov pain same as sunday. bd. ewcm.
tues 26 aug - again solid smiley on opk!!!!!. again REALLY BAD ov pain. cervix low as before. couldnt bd as partner not here...
wed 27 aug - neg on opk. cervix now so so high, closed and creamy cm. bd.
thur 28 aug today - neg on opk. cervix stayed high and closed. now constipated! ughhhhh. can't bd tonight either as he is not here Cry

anyway, any thoughts on whether i got this covered from the being side (as missed tuesday) or when ov actually happened? i didn't take any notice of cm last week, just noticed on the weekend when it was very obvious!.

I don't understand all of your acronyms, but you're going to send yourself insane trying to work out what's going on. Having sex every other day should be enough to get you pregnant. You've had lots of sex by the looks of things, so try not to get too anxious about what's going on WRT ovulation.

ok thanks…it is hard, because of my age and circumstances i feel this is my last chance….so i want to get it right at ovulation and with positives all over the place this month, it was weird

I think you probably ovulated on the Tuesday. I think you can have a few LH surges before the one that precedes ovulation and it sounds like that's what happened this month. I think having had sex the previous day should be enough.

If you haven't conceived, maybe worth temping next month as will give you a definitive answer as to when you ovulated.

ok thanks v much…i did think that as my cervix after tuesday closed and went real high, typical though he wasn't around tuesday, but yet fingers crossed the days before was enough. i did think about temping and i have kind of done it this cycle, but I'm not being strict with the times as i get up slightly different times each morning really (not much difference maybe an hour)….yesterday it was 97.7 which is kind of normal after ov but this morning it was 98.24….but tested probably an hour later than usual…so it was a rise but kinda stabbing in the dark at the moment with that one….
