Anyone else doing this? Just had my phone screen and they are sending my box of tricks on the 5th July...

a fortnight before I got a call

just had my phone call :-) now I'm waiting on my box of goodies!! :-) I think it will be soon, AF due 05/08 if we haven't hit the jackpot this month & I have to start peeing and storing from AF day one :-) exciting! !

p.s. a fortnight between applying online to the screening call :-)

I googled it after I read about it yesterday and they phoned me this afternoon. They have invited me on to one but I don't think its the same one. She explained it was slightly different. I sent the forms back and they said they would call to arrange a time to send the stuff out. AF due in the next few days though but I'm hoping for a BFP so I can simply send the stuff back.

I applied and got the call the next day. Returned forms and had a call the day after they got them. They're sending mine 5 days before af due so I can start on cd1.

omg, cd1 today and all the paperwork to start the trial has mashed my head x

JBEE1979 Not so bad this morning, was just yesterday, the first day getting my head round it. once you get your head round it, its dailiy diary - colour in circles to say you have took a sample, have you done ovulation test, result if yes - making sure dates are filled in ect ect. and then intercourse diary, did you have intercourse that day, if so, when, protected, unprotected. & dates on sample stickers. definately a bit of a blur when you've just got up. make sure you find a LARGE space in your fridge. i expected a little slot (probably the egg compartment) but using one of the drawers in fridge for the sample box. theyre big sandwich boxes that you put ya samples in! i dont mind tho, this is going to tie in (hopefully) with a round or 2 of us starting IUI so be nice to have a record of a lot of detail. x

ps: jbee1979 if they posted it yesterday (wednesday) you should get it today (thursday), i got mine the next day.... so you'll see what i mean x

was it delivered by royal mail or courier, bessie? i'm at work, if it's in the post office I can collect it tomorrow, if not I hope a neighbour takes it in and I hope its discreetly labelled! lol exciting to have a buddy doing it too! I will have to move some of DH's diet coke! he will be happy to have it replaced by pee!! lol

it is all discretely labelled, i dont know who delivered it to be honest, i wasnt here when they delivered mine, (was in hospital having la&dye) but the wicked witch (mother in law) took it in. (she doesnt know what is it, it just comes in a big plain brown box)

mine definitely came by royal mail as it had a royal mail special delivery label on it. Came in an extra large white jiffy bag to work.

onehappymummy to be honest, i think theres different trials for different people from what ive read. i deffo got huge brown box packed full of stuff - what did you get in ya jiffy bag? x

A fertility monitor with bits and a daily tick sheet - it looks pretty cool actually and I don't have to store pee in the fridge . They did tell me I was on a slightly different trial when they phoned. Interesting...

question though - the intercourse (spell check keeps changing to interior!) diary - we don't send it back every two weeks do we? just 14 samples and 2 diary pages? also I only have daily diary for one cycle (someone written cycle 001 in all the pages so unless I overwrite theirs?)

oh, didnt look about the intercourse diary, i presume not as its not as important as the others, unless u end up pregnant after the first cycle.

yes, thats right, you only have everything for one cycle. after you send the first 14 days stuff back, they get ya second lot ready to be dispatched for cycle 2 as far as im aware from what ive read. so dont over write anything x
