Hi, I am 12dpo today and have got these very faint lines on cheap tests. I've been getting these consistently for the last few days. I have a BFN on an FR today and on Monday though.

What is your experience? That these are false, unreliable or complete crap or the FR is false, unreliable and complete crap?

Arrrggghhhh I'm totally doing my own head in!

If those pictures were taken within 10 minutes, then it is congratulations. If they were taken after 10 minutes (especially after 15 mins) then it will be nasty evap lines. But you say the photos were within the test time, so congratulations!!!!!

Was the first response an early first response or an ordinary first response test? If it were an early first response, then, it is generally fairly accurate. If it were a digital, then you are testing too soon. The FRER tests are generally very good.

Thanks for your reply. These tests are so frustrating, I really don't know what to believe and the lines are definitely showing within the time frame but really don't want to get my hopes up :(

I had the exact same! Tested over 3 days, all def faint then did a dig & said pregnant within a minute :) I know it's hard but hold out a few days & do a dog, keep doing the cheapies if u need to, there doesn't tend to be much dye in them so never very dark lines xx

Oh Squeaky. I really hope they are good news: I can't quite see properly on my iPad. I joined your November AN thread back in Feb and we both had an early mc within days of each other and I was so sorry it happened. I don't appear to be ovulating since, but you give me hope if you have got you BFP so quickly!

Hi Kitty, I remember you. Didn't know you had a mc aswell! I had a couple of months off afterwards and so this is first month of trying since.

I really don't know what to think - its so hard, I don't want to get my hopes up but I can't ignore that there are lines! Arrrrgggghhhhhh feel so frustrated.

I have some others arriving tomorrow that I have ordered so I'm hoping they will show something too. I just want a definite yes or no, it's driving me crazy!

Looks positive to me! I got my BFP on one of these internet cheapies and it was a cpl of days before +ve on FR.

I see one big purple line and that's it think you have BFN's there the cheapies work fine i've had this conversation on here and apart from evap line which i don't see these tests don't lie.

Just though I'd update you guys. After lots of faint lines on numerous tests my AF arrived on Sunday. 'twas probably a chemical but I WILL not test early next month! X
