Any positive stories of ttc after vasectomy reversal?

my DH had a vasectomy revsersal last year which was successful according to the consultant. I quote "plenty of active sperm present".
We started ttc last month and i'm wondering if anyone here has expwri experience of ttc after a vasectomy reversal? Many thanks!

Hi Toothachereturns :) I'm new on this site after wanting to take a break from Fertility Friends.

Hope you are doing well. Any longed for BFP's yet? I hope you/we do get them soon. This fear of our DH's reversals not working or not having any good swimmers drives me bonkers even at the best of times!

My DH also had a vasectomy reversal this last 19th May and I was also looking for some positive experiences. Which surgeon performed his? Mines was Mr Duncan Harris, and he was also very positive about the reversal.

We have been actively TTC since after the 2 week rest as I am no spring chicken any longer lol, I'm 44 already! This last cycle we were both convinced I was pregnant as I had all the symptoms I usually get when I'm pregnant, even the fat belly (2 BFP's by IVF last year that ended in MC), and period was 1 week late. Unfortunately last month was not meant to be. I had to take his SA sample to hospital today for his count. We skived off work for 1/2 hour to do it and we felt like teenagers bonking off school to do something naughty lol.
