What is the chance of conceiving on day 9 of a cycle? Got carried away last night...
Since cutting back on breast-feeding a few months ago i have had 3 periods between 30 and 39 days apart. In answer o my own question I'd have thought conceiving on day 9 of a long cycle is practically impossible. Am I right? However, Im wondering whether this cycle is going to be much shorter as I seem to have some signs of ovulation now on day 10.

Hello I got pregnant with my daughter during the week after finishing my period (approx day 11). Am currently 10 weeks pregnant and know for a fact I got pregnant exactly 7 days after my period started (day after I finished). So it is possible. Hope it's a happy outcome for you (one way or the other!)

Agree it would be unlikely if it was going to be a long cycle...but could be a short one.
By signs of ovulation do you mean CM as it could be old sperm?

Thanks for your feedback everyone. Yes, Bobblehead I wondered whether it was old sperm. Will keep an eye on the old CM!
