Hibou7688 · 16/03/2014 20:14

toothachereturns · 16/03/2014 20:19

LOL!
My Dh is a sex pest. Grin

littlemisswine · 16/03/2014 20:42

the problem is they arent bfps they are squint, tilt and maybe lines. I need a big fat its real kinda line!!

toothachereturns · 16/03/2014 20:55

Ah I see. Very frustrating! Confused

In the last half hour I've started getting nasty cramps. Sad

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 10:16

Morning!

LittleMiss - when you going to test again? hoping you get the confirmation of bfp

Currently only a few days into "2ww", and already going insane.

I would normally expect af to appear 28/29th which could mean 30th (mothers day) might be bfp - which would be great :)

Trying to convince myself that this would be worth waiting for and to not test early... not sure how long I will last!

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 10:32

tested on a digital this morning and got no pregnant but a shadow line on a cheap one

im going to leave it a few days and see what happens

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 10:55

Oh, sorry littlemiss. I remember reading about the different strength tests, hoping for you it was just too early for the digital.

If it were me in your shoes, I would still be hopeful it was just too early - however understand how frustrating it can be. With my pfb (precious first born), I went a little crazy when TTC - it became all consuming! which is why this time round I was am so keen to stay level headed... not really managing it this week.

Have convinced myself I can feel something different in my stomach, and last night and today I have a funny taste in my mouth.

Its logically the fact I am paying so much attention to myself - and the taste is probably nothing more than this flavoured water I am drinking :)

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 11:13

im hoping but af is officially late so im not sure really whats going on as I did have 3 days of spotting mid cycle feel really confused

toothachereturns · 17/03/2014 11:53

Aw littlemisswine this must be doing your head in!!! But there's still a goid chance it will be a bfp. Smile

i'm still af-less today! I've got a first response test that I am going to do on Wed am if nothing changes. Confused

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 12:20

the cheapies def have a shadow after another look but im still not counting it as a bfp yet

when was af due tooth?

toothachereturns · 17/03/2014 12:47

Here lies the problem... based on the fact I appeared to have been ovulating constantly between 27/2 and 8/3 based on my opk results. Hmm
.... af was/is due anywhere between 13/3 and 21/3.

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 14:10

I hate all this. I feel like I am wishing my life away counting down to a given date - which may or may not give me the result I want, and even then the result may be inaccurate!

If only there was an easier way - to think I spent so many of my younger years being terrified of falling pregnant, only to realise how much more complex it all is :) sure I was not the only one

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 14:14

I know what you mean sleeping about wishing time away, im off work for 2 more weeks and have an adorable ds but I seem to run to the toilet at every opportunity to check for af or look at old tests

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 14:20

I hadn't thought of that... how do you get peace to test?

Mine is like my shadow! Unless I test at night he follows me everywhere!!

Ohhh that's going to put a spanner in the works for testing first thing in the morning, unless we make it a full on family event, with him and DP as the audience! Grin

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 14:22

dh and I get up with him on alternate mornings so only test when its dh morning to get up with the monkey!!!

ive been thinking and wonder if my 3 days of spotting mid cycle has messed with af

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 15:23

I'm not sure.

I was undergoing blood tests to check everything was in working order as had been TTC for a while - eg months of nothing, and then spotting every couple of weeks etc.
Results said everything was fine, and to keep at it (pun intended) but to come back if no joy in 3 months (was checking if I was ovulating due to other issues)

Had a "normal" af about 2 weeks later - slight spotting 2 weeks after, which had happened before, but less than previous - then had nothing for 5 weeks, but expected it to be a dodgy cycle so didn't test until I was in an accident and they asked if there was any chance.

Little bit jealous you get alternative mornings off Wink

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 15:32

when I say a lie in I mean 6.30am but ds is an early bird of 4.30 to 5 so its a lie in to us!!

im thinking about going to the gp if im not pregnant as for the last 2 cycles ive had some mid cycle spotting, would like to see if it settles but were on a bit of a time limit for ttc as im starting some medication in September that I can take and ttc but if im pregnant before then they will delay it

no pressure at all hey!!

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 15:55

I get my 4am cuddle just about every morning (and he comes in our bed till I get up at 6am) its not so bad really, most nights I get to sleep until then.
A lot of people judge me for not taking him back to his room, but I work so love him snuggling up to me first thing in the morning, but he is like a motion sensor - if I move/get up - he is constantly checking I am not doing something more exciting than he is!

I decided him getting out of our bed was a battle I didn't want to fight. If he doesn't grow out of it himself by 18 yrs, then I will reconsider Grin - especially if he ever asks for a partner to stay over!

When I went to the GP, they were really kind, helpful/reassuring I can't recall the name of the tests, but it was to check levels to ensure I was ovulating amongst other things.

I had been on the pill so couldn't exaggerate how long we had been trying last time, however if you were not on a hormone contraceptive, I definitely would, just for the piece of mind - if it is bothering you that is.

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 16:03

I was on cerazette and stopped it in September but we didnt try start away due to my illness so I think this is our 3rd or 4th cycle

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 16:36

Did you mention previously what illness? Not being insensitive, but don't want to ask about it if its not something you have volunteered!

I am assuming it wont complicate or be aggravated by pregnancy the fact your consultants is on board so hoping for all of us we are all moaning about our baby bumps by September :)

littlemisswine · 17/03/2014 16:43

ive got multiple sclerosis

my consultant says that in pregnancy things improve so I should feel back to my normal self but after theres a high chance of a big relapse so if I get my bfp soon they will order the drugs and ill start them the day after I deliver, if no bfp by sept they strongly recommend I start them as im struggling with the illness at the moment but I don't want to give in so we agreed 6 months

sleepisforthetired · 17/03/2014 16:56

That's really positive from the consultant. Only person I knew (as friends) with this diagnosis was basically told things which were consultant's view point, and not medically relevant. Wont go into detail but you can assume why c*nt is a perfect adjective at times...

sleepisforthetired · 19/03/2014 13:02

Thread has gone quiet... how is everyone doing?

I have nothing exciting to report, not testing until the 30th (if I can hold out that long!) - when is everyone else testing?
