How many days will it be then?
Trace I'll get them to you later.

wannaBe1974 · 10/08/2006 11:11

well af officially not due till tomorrow although spotted for a few days last month before proper af arrived, could hold off, know I should hold off, really don't think I can be pg - it's just not possible is it?

trace2 · 10/08/2006 11:12

I really should shoot and go to the shops. have spent far too long on here recently with posting about the demo and setting up the petition etc.

Peachy good to see you though - don't be a stranger - email me any time [email protected]

peachygirl · 10/08/2006 11:13

well... it could be possible, as your DH does have some wrigglers but as you always say holding out for as long as possible is the best thing to do. Although that is easier said then done!!

coggy · 10/08/2006 11:18

wannaBe - that was really sweet what you said earlier..thank you.

I thought about what I would feel like if I got a bfn and you got a bfp and I genuinely knew that I would be more happy for you than disappointed for me - does that make sense?!

I actually feel the same as you did before tho...can't imagine that I could possibly be pg as my luteal phase is only 8 days and I've had AF cramps for the past four!!
But at least if you test it moves you on doesn't it?

If my AF comes I am going to phone up my consultant and get the appointment that I should have had AGES ago...so good things will happen whichever way it goes for me this month.

Peachy - how fab!!
12 weeks has gone SO fast!!
Did you get a clear picture?
My ds was a right wriggler!!!

wannaBe1974 · 10/08/2006 11:23

coggy I think that when you've been trying as long as we both have the disappointment is less when af arrives, not because we're not disappointed, but because when you've been trying that long you don't expect a positive result anyway, so anything else is just the norm iyswim?

I won't be that disappointed if I get a bfn because I'm not expecting a bfp. When I did get my bfp with ds I was really really shocked. I sat in my bathroom going "no, it can't be - I can't be pregnant".

peachygirl · 10/08/2006 11:24

Hi coggy
yes a couple of great pictures one where it looks very much like that Evard Munch picture 'the scream'
Didn't you see somone about you luteal phase?

Natty1806 · 10/08/2006 11:26

Fingers still crossed coggy, but i think if AF does come you need to see you consultant and you can also start using your CBFM.

peachygirl · 10/08/2006 11:27

Hi natty, didn't know you were still around

coggy · 10/08/2006 11:28

Oh Peachy.........what a story I could tell!!!

I'm on clomid - which should help but basically I went to see the consultant last Aug. He wanted to see me in person but when I arrived (after an hour's journey and a 40 minute sit in the waiting room) they asked why I was there!!!

He had gone on holiday and they hadn't told me the appointment was cancelled!!
They said he would phone me to re-arrange an appointment as soon as he got back.
That was August 2005!!!!!

peachygirl · 10/08/2006 11:30

ShockShockShockShockShockShockShock

coggy · 10/08/2006 11:31

I know!!!
i was so sure that I would pg again quickly that I didn't chase it up!!

I did write in January to ask a couple of questions.....he replied in March with the wrong person's details!!!!!!

peachygirl · 10/08/2006 11:32

you have been very patient, I think I migt have kicked up a bit of a stinky fuss!

coggy · 10/08/2006 11:34

Believe me I will if AF arrives!!!!!

My patience has well and truely gone along with my niavity about falling pg again quickly!!!!!!

pendulum · 10/08/2006 11:37

hi timeforanother

I'm trying for no 2. Have DD 2.3 yrs and this is my second month TTC.

Natty1806 · 10/08/2006 11:45

Yeah i am still here peachygirl.

Coggy - you are too nice i am always ringing the fertility secretary to ask things and chase things up, but i am very impatient. You should def ring when Af arrives sorry should say IF Af arrives. x

MrsMcJnr · 10/08/2006 11:53

Wow! So much activity on here since I logged off yesterday! It has taken me an hour to catch up. Good morning everyone, welcome newbies!

I think Natty?s idea of a BFP thread is a great one; we could just start now rather than go back and count but am happy to take a month if you think it would be better to go back to Jan. Let me know. As you say, it could record the date of the BFP, how long the lucky lass was trying for and any assistance. I think we?d all find it quite motivating to read that from time to time.

Poor you Trace ? you sound so tired and a bit down, we?re here for you though!

Hello Coggy! So excited for you, everything crossed, roll on tomorrow!! LOL about the eyes!! Hello SOL ? all crossed for you still too!

Hello Cream1 ? I am exactly the same stage as you and drive all on here mad with my questions I?m sure, welcome! LOL Andi0411 ? good luck to you and I?ll probably join you on the Pos Sept thread soon (the evidence is all there I?m afraid apart from AF ? due Sat).

Nice to see you back Boo ? so exciting hearing your baby?s heartbeat, congratulations! Hope the MS leaves soon and hello Peachy ? exciting times for you with the 12 week mark gone!

Watched Lost last night (a night late I know) and DH and I both cracked up when Jin asked Sun before getting into bed if she had taken her temperature ? though what good it would do at bedtime, I wasn?t sure (I know it?s only a soap!).

Hello Wannabe1974 ? Signed your petition, well done, I support you wholeheartedly. I like the idea of your fattening up for Christmas thread . As you say, it means that those of us who feel/or are here a while can keep in touch more. Plus it is yet another thread to watch, hurrah! (I am so going to get the sack soon!). BUT hey, things are looking exciting for you!! Will be reading this avidly.

Phew! Think I am up to date now!

bobblehead · 10/08/2006 13:40

Hi everyone, just want to wish Coggy and Wannabe luck and hope you get your bfps!

Coggy I had af type pains from at least 4 dpo this time, which was one of the reasons I was convinced I hadn't ov as it made me think what I had assumed were ov pains couldn't have been!
My pains lasted until about a week ago (am 6 weeks). Good luck hope no af!

coggy · 10/08/2006 14:10

Really Bobble???!!!
Ooooohhh..................

bobblehead · 10/08/2006 14:44

I used one of my cheapy opks to satisfy my urge to pee on something and while it wasn't positive the line was so much darker than usual that I decided to do a hpt and got my faint faint line!

coggy · 10/08/2006 15:05

LOL Bobblehead!!!!

I have only one test...so need to use it wisely!!!!

Tili · 10/08/2006 16:52

Afternoon ladies.
I dont think i have quite caught up with everything thats been going on on here its been so busy
Good luck Coggy and Wanna it would be great to hear you both get BFPs fingers crossed for you both.
Timeforanother i am ttc no2 have dd who is nearly 4 Only just started trying but have just come off the pill and my af has gone awol and its not due to a BFP unfortuneatly
Hope everyone is doing ok
Take care all xx

coggy · 10/08/2006 22:28

You're not going to like this but........

......I'm beginning to think I might not test 'til Sat morning!!!

SORRY!!!!
Please don't shout!!

I'll only be CD28 then and I know what I'm like...if it's a bfn I'll just persuade myself it was too soon and then get my hopes up again all unecessarily.

And also (and rather sadly) I am enjoying the excitment today!!
Wierd?
If I do my test tomorrow and it's a bfn then my excitment has gone and that's it for A WHOLE other month (again!)

This is the first month that my luteal phase has been more than 8 days (although we still have the night to get through yet). I guess that even if I get a bfn....at least I will be really pleased that this time it has lengthened which is excellent news.

Oh....I don't know....I usually just merrily test away each month!!! I'll probably cave in...but just to warn all those of you who are setting alarms for wannaBe and me!!!!

wannaBe..........know how you feel.....such a dilemma.

wannaBe1974 · 11/08/2006 06:51

coggy

I logged on to see if you'd tested, and tbh yesterday I was thinkging maybe you should hold off as only 9 dpo and whether it would be worth waiting, so imo you are doing the right thing. in fact I would wait as long as possible before testing.
