I just found a cheap FR pregnancy test on Ebay![smile]

For any other FR fans like myself, I just bought a twin pack on ebay for 5.99 which I beleive is a bargain. Im not very computer savy but im going to try to link to it. first responce twin pack

I use the ebay stick tests the strips seem flimsy to me and not sure they work i have OPK one's good luck hope you get a BFP on both

£6 on amazon for a twin pack too at the moment!

Seems ridiculous to pay that much when you can buy 30 early pregnancy tests with the same sensitivity for £2.90. I searched ebay and this is the first result.

They all work just the same.

Showy, according to the picture on that eBay auction, faint line is a negative result? It's that how internet cheapies work? I'm new to ttc and was going to stock up on cheap test strips, but I think I'd rather have ones where a line is a line, no matter how faint...

I just picked any old link to illustrate the sort of tests I used. Faint line thing sounds odd. Hang on and I'll find where I actually used to get them. These tests were the ones I used and a faint line is a line. Any line means they're picking up hcg.

showy i have those internet stick test for ovulation that price for that many doenst seem right imo all my tests have come back negative or it does nothing at all better off buying a bit more expensive one not clearblue though there a rip off i use the stick tests now my sturdy and more accurate

I have never used ovulation tests but you're wrong about the pregnancy tests. You are NOT better off buying more expensive ones. Actually, the more expensive ones are often less accurate. The GP uses the strip tests. They're cheap and reliable and always picked up my pregnancies reliably and before my period was due. Buy from a reputable seller and they're cheap because pregnancy tests ARE cheap. The extra packaging and buying into false promises is what is expensive.

Asdas own twin pack are one pound. They are cheap and effective. They are the plastics tests so a little less fiddles then strips

At the end of the day, no matter what tests you get, crack them open and it's just a strip inside!!

I've heard the digital ones are more likely to show false negatives btw.

The poundshop do twinpacks for £1 too. And Home Bargains. All work perfectly well.

Thanks, Showy, I don't think I could be doing with agonizing over whether a line is a faint or a solid one! I don't really want to spend too much money on something I'm going to piss on , so I shall head to eBay for some cheap tests!

I am a fan of any test cheap or expensive as long as I can test. I think i am addicted. So as not to bankrupt myself I also use the cheepies but as soon as i get my BFP!:-) I will be heading straight to ebay for one of these
Clearblue twin packs so that I can see the conception count rising and have piece of mind.
