Ok, so it's my first month ttc no.3. I was taking a combined pill, missed two and decided that after nearly twenty years of taking it, enough was enough. A week after I stopped taking it, I had a bleed starting on 18th December.

Now although we weren't actively ttc, we took quite a leisurely attitude to the whole thing Wink so it's entirely possible that I could be pregnant! I did keep a track of ovulation and the hallowed smiley face told me that I ovulated on cd19.

So that's the background. I'm now 14dpo, no af and with a considerable collection of faint lines on pregnancy tests.

I've just uploaded a photo of one for your viewing pleasure...what do you think lovely mnetters? Xxx

I can't see a second line, but it might be my computer. Have you tested using different brands of tests?

Harry2007 · 19/01/2014 20:14

It's not the best photo as I've taken it on my ipad without a flash.

I did get a very faint line on a first response this morning but I don't know if it's me seeing things! I'm slightly paranoid as faint lines in the past have resulted in an ectopic Sad, hence my paranoia!

Am I being daft but I cant even find the photo?!

YourMotherChucksRocksInHull · 19/01/2014 20:19

What sensitivity is the test you're using? 14dpo is quite early if you're using a 50miu/ml one so I wouldn't worry about a faint line.

And a line is a line - if you can see one then I'd take that as a positive :)

Is there anyone else who can look at it for you?

mrsb87 · 19/01/2014 20:32

Ignore me....I found it. Yep I can see a faint line!

Harry2007 · 19/01/2014 20:48

It's a 25miu mother which makes me think that I shouldn't have to squint this hard to see a line at 14dpo...you never know though!

Thanks mrsb it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one!

DH can't see it, but then when I do show him a test, he takes a fleeting glance and says that he can't see anything. Well DH, I have news for you, this POAS analysis thing is an art form in itself and I will not be downtrodden by your complete lack of effort!

I know we weren't actively ttc but now that the idea is in my head, I've surprised myself with how badly I actually want it...

I shall summon the Goddess of Clearblue come the morning and offer her my fmu Grin
