In the new year? I can't waitt that long - so I've no idea how you must be coping!

ifonly678 · 30/12/2013 23:32

I really dont know how I'm coping to be honest... currently got a friend staying with us for a few days so they're keeping me on my toes.... had DH hide the tests so I don't go crazy...

OPKs can only tell you that your body is gearing up for ovulation. They can't tell you that you definitely will ovulate or that you have done so. There is a strong possibility that you did not ovulate when you thought you were going to and that therefore you are not "late"

OPKs are not really reliable for PCOS sufferers, I know as I have it too. The hormone levels are already unstable so the sticks can give false readings. Only a blood test can reliably tell you that you have ovulated.

Are you under a fertility specialist? After 3 years of TTC and a PCOS diagnosis you should by now be receiving specialist treatment, not relying on your GP.

Really sorry to hear that. Take it easy and give your body and mind time to recover. Best of luck in the future.
