I already feel like im wishing Christmas away so I can poas!

Been having sensitive teeth and bleeind gums the last few days. Googled in and it seems to happen in the 2ww regardless of if you get af or bfp so might need to buy new toothpaste if this is going to happen every month!

Anyone else due around the same time?

When are you thinking of testing?
Im aiming for 28/29th if I can wait that long :)

Aw sorry pebble
kinda jealous though as you know where you are!

Aw sorry pebble, hope you're not too disappointed. At least you know more about your cycle in prep for next time.

pebble82 · 03/01/2014 17:57

I'm surprisingly OK with it. Relieved the waiting is over really. That was my first 2WW and I hope I'm not that tense/nervous/excited/panicky/insane every month!!

Now googling 17day luteal phases - must...stop...fretting...

The "normal" side of me says not to worry and it'll happen when it happens. The "crazy" side is plotting plans of how to keep DP in the house constantly so he's always "on tap" at the right time! His work are talking about sending him abroad again for work this month - I'll be fuming if it's around OV time...AGAIN!!

toots123 · 03/01/2014 19:41

Hahaha!! :)

I think joining this forum has made me 1 million times worse. Not having people to talk to would make me stay quiet so might not bother with it when af arrives!!

Haha pebbles that sounds just like me! One cycle in and I'm consumed! But enjoying it ... Poor other halves!! Wink

toots123 · 04/01/2014 16:49

Still nothing here!!! Might test tomorrow or Monday. I knew I wouldn't last till Friday... :)

Alas I won't be getting the birthday present I was hoping - AF turned up earlier today.

Oh well,.Im obviously disappointed but not as much as I thought I would be. In fact it's a relief in a way as I now know where I stand and also a bit more about my cycle which will help for next time.
Plus I knew deep down I wasn't pregnant, just didn't feel right so it just means we can get on for preparing for next time for sure!

toots123 · 04/01/2014 17:21

Good to know where you are toffee!

Quite funny, the other day I told dh there is a few of us with no period yet. He said "yours will come last knowing your luck"
And he was right... it is just how things happen for me i suppose!!

Just read this thread. I should have been waiting with you ladies. I am in the same situation and I still don't have the ERTD. I was due on 1 January, second month of TTC and have always had regular as clockwork periods 26-28 days without fail, even after coming off pill each time I have it has gone straight back to regular cycle. Now I am on CD 38 and no still sign of AF. I have had PG symptoms - metallic mouth, serious nausea and some cramping as well as continued CM type discharge (TMI sorry). However, tests have shown BFN. I am going loopy. It will maybe make you feel better Toots, now yours has arrived to know there is someone after you! I don't really think I am PG now, I'm just really worried that something has suddenly gone very wrong health wise. I am thinking of making a GP appointment for next week just to be on the safe side. I have been reading (dangerous, I know) and starting to wonder if it could be an ovarian cyst as apparently symptoms can be similar to PG. That would be seriously bad timing to suffer something like this when have just started TTC and at all other times I have been regular as clockwork with no complications. I never thought I would say this but I just want my AF to get on with it and like you girls, I would know where I am and just look forward to trying again next month. Good luck to you all, I hope it happens soon x

Latium123 · 12/01/2014 10:50

Or does anyone think it is possible to make your own period late just by thinking about it more than usual (i.e. wanting to be PG)??

I know that stress can cause a late or absent AF but I understood this needed to be significant stress. I have gone through stages in my life of much more stress and never missed AF.

Ladymillion · 12/01/2014 11:01

Latium I am also in a similar situation, last AF was 1st Dec and although I'm unsure as to my actual cycle length (first month TTC) I feel it should've arrived by now!

This waiting is torturous, and POAS is becoming part of my daily routine Confused

Ladymillion · 12/01/2014 11:04

Oh and I definitely believe that being obsessed by it all can fool our bodies into thinking it's pregnant!

Latium123 · 12/01/2014 11:08

Same here Ladymillion I have been POAS quite a lot and every time it is negative. If I was irregular I could accept it is just one of those things but this is very unusual for me, plus symptoms. There are stories of women getting very late BPFs on home tests but I have to say I have pretty much given up hope. I am just worried now and that is not good for the whole TTC situation. Good luck to you x

Ladymillion · 12/01/2014 11:23

Latium I think it's natural to automatically assume the worst, especially when you want something so bad. But like u mentioned, lots of things can affect cycles, it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong with you. And Google doesn't help at all as it doesn't matter what symptoms you put in, you always end up diagnosing yourself with some horrific illness! Confused I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry Wink

toots123 · 12/01/2014 11:25

Ita horrible isnt it! I knew I wasnt pg because of all the bfn's! But wanted af to arrive so we could start again. I suppose its our body's way of saying calm down haha. I wish I was patient but im not.

This month will be more chilled though!

Thanks Ladymillion, you're quite right about google. A little information can be a bad thing.
