It thins the blood. The idea is that some blood clotting disorders can cause miscarriage/infertility by stopping blood getting to the womb and embryo.

My IVF clinic recommends it after egg collection.

I read the risks are actually higher towards causing miscarriage if you take it but don't have the blood problem. You should have it confirmed by a doctor before taking it.

Thanks euro, how much do you take? And is it from af to ovulation or all the time?

Can you buy in supermarkets or just over counter?

I definitely wouldn't self medicate with any form of aspirin. Only take it if supervised by a fertility doc. As it thins the blood it could easily effect your uterus lining...

I also wouldn't take it unless prescribed. The name baby aspirin is because it's a lower dose than your normal aspirin, but they don't sell them anymore, I think.
