Hi lovelies,
Story in brief trying for 21/2 years , 4 miscarriages, seen chinese medicine man, he said 100% sure we are white blood cell incompatible! All we need is for me to have an immune suppressant to get pregnant and carry to term?! Has anyone heard of this or had this?

There is something called a HLA DQ Alpha match which is where you and your partner share certain genes and this can affect how your body responds to any embryos you produce together (basically if an embryo is too similar to you then your uterus doesn't recognise it as something that should be there and your immune system will fight it) however this can only be found by detailed blood tests and certainly not by a Chinese medicine man!

I do think that after 4 miscarriages it would be worth your while to speak to a specialist and see what they say - there are many things which could be a factor.

there is a blood group that can attack the other blood group, I know this because my nan and two cousins have it.
if this is the case, you need to have a injection when you first become pregnant and then they give the baby one once it's born. this is to stop the blood killing the other blood group.
this is only found out if you have your blood group found out.
hope this may help you x
