Yes, early on lots of people do, and later it's the uterus stretching toa ccomodate your baby. If you're concerned though, it's always better to give your MW / GP a quick call than sit around worrying.

I have to be honest I dont even know if Im pregnant yet!

I had period pains and back ache at the beginning of both my pregnancies,lasted a few weeks too.

I had very typical AF symptoms when first pg this time, period pains and cramping but the actual period never showed! good luck

I had period type pains accompanied by bleeding when pg with ds. to the extent I thought af had arrived and didn't test till two weeks later when I passed out at work.

If I remember rightly though you've just come off the pill? It's possible that your periods may become more painful now you're not on the pill any more, so this may well be the start of your period.

i had period type pains for first few weeks with all 3 of my pregnancies, was convince i couldn't be pregnant despite positive hpt. did 2 hpt yesterday as period late(only 1 day but normal bang on time) and both had faint positive line after 3 minutes and did another one at 01.30 this morning as pains worse than remembered others being, positive line after 3 minutes clearer than yesterday but pains still bad so fingers crossed ots not a chemical pregnancy.
