Refused clomid

Hi all
I am posting on behalf of my 30 year old daughter. She and her husband have been trying for a baby for 6 years. They have recently had all the tests and although she has regular periods (28-35 days) she isn't ovulating. She has been told to either have the HyCoSy or go straight for IVF. I advised her to visit the GP to ask for clomid first but the DR refused saying it can cause hypertension. She doesn't suffer from high blood pressure at all. Any one else been refused and then managed to get it ? Surely worth a try. Thanks

Sorry still looking at Isoflavones I am still confused about the dose. The tesco ones say 40gm on the label as the h and b ones say 750gm but only contain 23gm of Isoflavones, but to work out the dose on the tesco ones the whole 40gm is multiplied to give the correct dose. My daughter was quite interested in trying them and the tesco ones are unavailable
Thanks

Ok so I have an old bottle of tesco ones in front of me. The 40 mg is the total amount if soy ( as an active ingredient) in the capsule just as the h and b contains 23 mg ( as active ingredient) Just ignore the 750 on the h and b it is only the standardised amount you need to know.
Clomid doses are 50 to 100mg, with soy you as near as double as you can depending on the strength of tablets so start with 5 h and b capsules or 3 Tescos .
