Hi, I'm a newbie here and ttc newbie as well! I'm looking for buddies to share experience. Who's with me?Experts tips always welcome
We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

Well i dont think theres a need for me to keep busy. Just had some spotting so I think AF is on the way. Also had a banging headache today which is unusual for me.

I think it's ok for them to think it as long as they kept quiet. Its hard around xmas season!

Ah sorry to hear that - but remember it could be implantation, not over till AF shows up in full - and very much hoping she doesn't!!

So poas this morning as AF still disappeared and as soon as the cb digital starts thinking it arrives. Thats my cruel body haha.

Not to worry im gonna use this to have some time off. I most likely wont ovulate this month due to no medication but ill make the most of it and crack on again soon. Ill keep popping in xx

Hi all. Just popping in, so sorry Wood&Broody, its so hard this emotional roller coaster. Af arrived for me this morning too. Hugs all round and know I'm being quiet but I am hoping for you both. I am going to try and buck myself up and enjoy Christmas then see what the new year brings, not easy though. Hope you enjoy the festive fun. Good luck with your scan V, hope everything is ok.

Anyone got any advice here...
I'm 8 days late. Have barely dtd this month, in fact.the last time we did was the day before my last period. I ovulate about 7 days after af. I think it's unlikely I could be pregnant due to the time I dtd.
Also before I was late I did a cheapy internet pg test which was neg. I did another about 4 days ago - also neg.
I've had no af symptoms either, usually I'm crampy the day before af arrives but nothing.

Do you think there is every chance I could be pg and I need to just wait before testing? or do I just put it down to my body being weird and delaying af and wait it out??

I am a newbie in every possible way. To the forums, to the abbreviations (so please bear with my confusion!) and new to idea of TTC!

I've been married a year and DH has been laying the baby pressure on thick but I now feel like I've got onto the same page. Really nervous and have come off the pill.

Hibou does seem unlikely you'd be pg but stranger things have happened! I'd give it a week and test again. Have you ever missed an AF before?

Hi broody, thanks for reply..i know it seems unlikely, i've never been late before, always 28/29 days. Deep down I know AF is going to appear and then I'll have no idea where I am with my cycles at all. Just when I thought i'd got it sussed!! Xmas Sad

It's confusing isn't it. Well good luck and fx for you. Do you do opks or temp at all? Maybe you haven't ovulated this month? How long have you been off bc?

Came off the pill in july, cycles settled straight away so felt really lucky! This month was the first time I got a positive opk, it was 7 days after my period started. I had been using them for a month at around 14 days after as I thought that'd be a good place to start but was always getting negatives, someone on here suggested maybe I ov earlier so i tested earlier and they were right. So according to opks I def ovualted... But where is af!!

hmm Hibou that is strange as it means you Ov at CD 7ish and your AF normally comes at CD 27 ish so you have a longer second half of your cycle.. if you ov'd you def should have an AF! Sorry I'm not much help but all I would say is I came off the pill in June and my cycles settled straight away 30-33 days. But my last 2 cycles have been 35 and 37 so have suddenly started getting longer. They do say bc can affect your cycles for up to a year so I'm hoping it's just that. Keep us posted x

hibou that does sound odd. Which OPKs do you use? I think you can have a pos. on a clear blue and still not ov, it just detects the peak in hormone but doesn't confirm ov for sure unless you temp. It's all so confusing!

7 days before ov for DTD makes it seem unlikely but not impossible. Maybe test in a few days if no AF?

Vicky I'm doing good.. finished AF will Ov next week some time just trying to have some relaxed dtd time.. Really busy at work though so it's tricky not to feel too tired!

well stopped the microgynon and took a folic acid instead this morning Grin due withdrawal bleed within next few days then the fun begins Smile

We have 2DDs, cant believe we're going back to the baby stage! Brew

Af arrived monday evening! Glad it finally did as I knew I wasn't pregnant so at least I can focus on the next step. Because this period was late, does that mean I will ovulate slightly later or might it still happen at the same time?

hibou I would guess you will ov a similar number of days after AF but these things can vary.

broody glad AF has buggered off, at least it's almost Christmas an you can get lots of DTD in and catch up on the lost sleep ;)

Had my scan yesterday, all good :) told my mum and plan on telling my boss today.......before tonight's Christmas party!! No idea how they will take it :/
