Tell me I'm not pg cos I'm getting my hopes up even though I can't be

Just that really. Reasons why my crazy mind is telling me I might be:

FF has identified a possible trisphasic curve identifying a possible implantation

My cervix is sore

My CM seems to be increasing in quantity rather than decreasing, and hasn't moved away from 'creamy' even though AF is nearly here

My cervix seems too closed for impending AF

I've been very tired and very hungry - both unusual for Little Miss Energetic let's-go-for-a-hill-run-after-finishing-a-12-hour-shift here

My abdomen is tender to touch

My nipples are a bit tingly

My breasts are extremely itchy, especially around the nipples

My nipples have been quite swollen for the last week or so (though less so now), and I think my breasts are a little bigger

And the reason why I can't?

My Day 21 test gave a progesterone level of 17. My GP isn't sure I even ovulated. I think I did (bbt/CM/CP/OPK results), but this level wouldn't sustain a pg, would it???

So, can you lovely sensible people just tell me I'm an idiot and to shut up, go away, and await AF? Due tomorrow or Thurs.

Only one way to find out really...

You need to find. Suitable distraction for 48hours (easier said than done I realise) then AF will be here, or you can PoAS with an element of reliability to the answer.

I know... I just wish AF would hurry up and appear so I know there's no hope and can get on with next month!

First response early test would tell you definite answer. I always did the test because I couldn't stand the waiting. Even if it's negative, you get back your 2 days of stressful waiting. I had several months of negative tests then one month when it wasn't!

Don't wanna waste money when it's so unlikely - I don't have much.... And whilst the money would be well worth it if it turned out positive, I'm thinking that's extremely unlikely and I'll just get all hopeful for nothing

Could you be ovulating NOW? - I feel exactly like this when I'm about to ovulate ....

Only if it's two weeks late and I have a very high pre-ovulation progesterone level and if my BBT/CM/CP/OPK were wrong . Not impossible, but unlikely surely?

How long are your cycles normally? If they are longer than 28 days, your progesterone could still have been rising.

Last one 34 days, this one will be 31 (my luteal phase is always 13/14 days, and I ovulated earlier this cycle). Don't feel like I'm about to get AF, that's the weird thing, and isn't CM supposed to dry up and disappear before AF? Last month it minimised and went kinda tacky; this month it's more plentiful than before and still creamy .

Well there you go. Your "day 21" test should have been done on day 24, you will only have ovulated around 3 days before and the test ought to be 7dpo. Good luck.

re. late ovulation - years ago my AF was due on a particular Saturday, so we DTD the night before (you know, quick before the shop closes! )

AF never came and 3 weeks later I had BFP!
he is now 10. and I know I conceived that Friday night as I had been ill and DH was away a lot so nothing happened for the previous 3 weeks (after the lasy AF)

so basically I ovulated about 10-14 days later than usual.
it happens!

Already have. Negative . Don't understand....as per the thread title, I didn't really think I could be, but still so much seemed to be pointing to it . And also, cervix really high this morning, still barely open, and much softer - though it was supposed to be low and hard for AF? And still loads of creamy CM . AF overdue now. Baffled.

well until you AF there's hope still. sorry you are disappointed now.

I have replied on one of your previous posts, but today you implied that cm is supposed to dry up just before af. No this is not the case. If can / does dried up immediately following ovulation. But just before af there is another (not as high as with ovulation) surge in LH (hence why some women appear to get a positive opk just before af.) this secondary rise in LH can cause more Ewcm or creamy cm just before af.

I still think you have only just ovulated more recently, as I explained in my previous post. But you seemed totally convinced to the contrary, so I will not try to convince you further to wait before peeing on another stick, as I would clearly be wasting my time. I will say that you might find it helpful to read all the information on Fertility friend . Com, as it has a wealth of information that you might find useful.

AF is here . Pretty gutted even though I guess I knew it was a no-hoper.

Yeah, I am Willitbe - didn't mean to be rude by that; just it seems unlikely that CM/cervix itself/BBT/OPK/Day 21 test could all be wrong... CM stayed creamy from ovulation right through to when the blood appeared today. I've been reading FF's 'lesson' emails though and you're right, they're very useful.

Thanks. Really gutted . And to make it even better, as if I wasn't quite aware enough that I'm not pg, I woke up this morning and my mooncup had overflowed in the night and my legs from thigh to knee were stuck together with blood. Had to take a shower to get rid of it. Great.
