I have always ovulated at around day 9 of my cycle, as my period lasts a full week, and I have 4 children, I'd say yes you can get pg just after your period ends.

LadyTophamHatt · 03/06/2006 07:50

Well, I'm PG now because we had nookie 2 days after the end of my period.

I thought I ovulated at around day 12-16(my ds'3 were concieved between these day) but it started getting a bit earlier to around day 10-11 I fell PG this time on about day 8 or 9.

I will NEVER have unprotcted sex again....EVER!!!

That's weird, my doc said i had conceived earliest possible date and that was day 5 after my period - and that was even taking into account the fact that sperm can live for 5 days (she said 5 not 7) .

will never believe them again then! Grin

Too late for the morning after pill :(.

I really do think I have ovulated this weekend and just feel so scared.

PiccadillyCircus · 05/06/2006 16:17

I had sex on day 8 of my cycle and DD is now 8 months old.

LIZS · 05/06/2006 16:40

Are you sure it's too late ? What about having a coil fitted as think you have up to 5 days \link{http://www.fpa.org.uk/guide/emergncy/index.htm, according to here} and 3 days (72 hours) for MAP.

LIZS · 05/06/2006 16:41

sorry \link{http://www.fpa.org.uk/guide/emergncy/index.htm\here}
