Hi there,

I have my blood results back and they haven't shown any issues according to the GPS although I have a scan this afternoon to look at the ovaries etc. But do these results look ok to you? I am 39 in a weeks time.

Fasting glucose is 4.4
Testosterone level is 1.2
Thyroid is 1.68
Fsh is 5.4
Lh is 3.5

These were done on day 2 of my cycle.

I ovulate every month on the same day but it is the 2nd half of my cycle that is going awry. I start spotting about 3-4 days prior to af starting. Progesterone supplements for 2ww have made no difference to the spotting.

Any ideas?

Hi, I only know about thyroid levels. I presume that is your TSH? In that case, it's a good level, you want to be

The look fine from a PCOS presepective. A typical PCOS test would see the LH way higher than the FSH.

Your FSH is a good level for your age too - it tends to increase as women head towards menopause. :)

Thank you both for your replies.

I had my scan this afternoon and they confirmed that both ovaries were clear. No cysts, no follicles that are present with pcos and they were both normal size.

So now back to the drawing board to establish what is causing the spotting.
