I'm now in my 2ww and counting down the days til I can test.
In terms of dpo, I'm only on my second month of using opk's but assume my first -ive after a +ive is the day I ov so 1dpo is 2days from last +ive.

Noooo Fairy don't add days to my 2ww!

I count mine from 1st positive. You need to temp as well to know really. My temp always goes up day after 1st positive. After 1 positive opk I don't do anymore until the following cycle as everyone should ovulate no more than 48hours after that if I understand correctly.

I'm 9dpo and just waiting to start testing with opks which I will start tomorrow. DH and I have both been a bit under the weather and have not felt like DTD at all so we better start now or well miss our chance again this month!

I tend to get 2 positive days sometimes 3 with the cheapies but that's probably me misreading the lines. I might temp next month.
Or hopefully won't have to!

I normally only get one +ve opk so i assume that i will ov sometime the day after that (12-36 hours). So start counting my dpo the day after that. So technically 2 days after my positive.

Ive managed to resist poas today mainly because i have no tests in the house i hate waiting for af to show up!

I had some wine last night. I don't think I quite thought it through tbh. Now I have a hangover and I feel guilty on the 1% chance that I have a tiny bean to look after

You should be fine kitty- I checked your stats and guess you've only just ov'd?
Before implantation, any bean is just floating around not connected to your bloodstream. The earliest date I've seen for implantation is 6dpo (I used that as an excuse to poas at 6dpo, it doesn't work).
We metabolise alcohol very quickly so it will all be out of your system before implantation happens (fingers crossed for this month). Some other things won't metabolise as quickly but alcohol is quick.
I don't think you've done any harm (other than to your head of course).

Prodding my boobs every now and then (they hurt when I run up the stairs,...note to self: don't run up the bloody stairs). I'm not sure I'd describe them as "tender", but they don't like being prodded. Feel like af is about to arrive again, which annoys me, but at least means I will quite possibly be able to get drunk at my own wedding.
Ov-ed earlier than expected this cycle, so af is now calculated to arrive on Wednesday and she already seems to announce herself with constant twinges and me feeling like she's here already. Add to that a sore throat and a me being snuffly and I can't wait for the summer holidays. I really cannot wait!! (Someone take my class for the last few weeks. Have mercy on me...someone, anyone...don't care, who.)

We'll be getting married in August, Little. My dress is..aehm...ivory, with sparkly bits on the front and down the back. Aehm,...it looks like a wedding dress. I don't have a clue what's on the menu. We are having a proper big buffet. My parents picked the different items on it, after I sent them a three-page list of suggestions. We are getting married close to where I grew up, so it's much easier for them to organise stuff than it would be for me...12 hours drive away.

We've been together for a good decade now, so my mum decided it's time for us to get married and booked the venue and registrar. She did tell me which date I was going to get married on after she organised it, which was kind. No, it's really lovely of her. I think we were just being a bit lazy with all this wedding stuff and never felt old enough to get married.

Hello all, not been on here in a while, such a hectic month!
Its nice to come back to find a BFP already, many congratulations!
Sounding hopeful for a few on here as well, fingers crossed we have many more BFPs to come!
Sadly AF turned up for me a few days ago . Only a 26 day cycle last month, 34 the month before and 30 month before that. With odd cycles its quite hard working out what to do when, although at least this month I wasn't late and given false hope! Heres hoping cycle 5 will be more productive.
Im going to tentatively say my BFP is now due 28th July (going on an average cycle).
In a strange way I'm quite calm that its not worked this month, its given me the courage to finally get my wedding dress bought for my wedding in November this year (after checking it could be let out a size or two should I get my BFP anytime soon ). Its all red and pretty and miiiiiiine

Well symptom spotting has gone crazy chez Livin'. So far my probably completely imaginary symptoms include vivid dreams, nausea, tiredness and being a grumpy cow Supposed to be waiting til Wednesday to poas - not sure I'll last!

Livin I had a very vivid dream last night. Also feeling a but grumpy. Apart from that absolutely symptomless. Not a sausage. I had some wine yesterday and a beer today. I rarely drink but I'm not going to abstain completely on the off chance. I don't feel like its happened, but then I'm not due til 11th so I have a while yet.

Aww all this talk about weddings i want to do it again! Mine was only in april but it really is the best day ever some people can do wonders with wedding dresses so dont worry about needing to get it taken in or letting out (i had to have mine taken in a few sizes and didnt look any different)

Dont worry about the wine kitty i havent stopped drinking whilst ttc. Obviously im not doing it every weekend or anything. Everything is moderation. But it could take a year or more to conceive. I need a or 2 to get through the awful ttc process!

Ive definately been doing the prodding of the boobs sometimes they hurt when im just sitting there. And they hurt when i go down the stairs. But other times i just have to prod them just to check they still hurt!

Oh I have vivid dreams when I'm pregnant! Definitely a real life symptom!

It's ridiculous isn't it? I keep reminding myself I'm very old and it's my first month off the pill so really unlikely to happen!

It is silly isn't it too much symptom spotting im still cramping but on wiping today there seens to be some colour tiny red dot here and there I expect it is the beginning of af due in 3 days oh well wait and see

I am fully recovered now! I'm glad I won't have done any harm. I won't be making this mistake again. I think at the ripe old age of 21 I'm just too past it to polish off 2 bottles of rosè.

I did do a cheapie test earlier and it was negative so at least that's something. And the line on the OPK has started to fade so I guess I'm just waiting for AF now!

Kitty, my limit is 2 glasses these days! Any more and I'm at the serious making a show of myself stage. We had a mumsnet meetup here in Liverpool and I was awful after less than a bottle. Crying and everything. Proper hammered!

Fell asleep on the sofa watching a film (symptom spot!) I'm off to bed.

Other symptoms include: tiredness... Grouchy ness... Cramping... Weird dreams... And difficulty staying on task!! What d'ya all think?!

I always have difficulty staying on task. DP asked several times today why I was

1. hoovering up things
2. trying to clean under the sofa
3. search for the iPad
4. roll around on the floor
5. walk in and out of the conservatory muttering
6. sending text messages and giggling like a loon
7. talking for ages on the phone to my mum
8. doing several other things... ...while I was supposed to write reports and do my planning. I've done some planning. I'm ready for tomorrow. Sort of. What I've planned sounds a bit mad (even for me), but it'll be ok...somehow...oh yeah, where did I put the ice cream...? I think it's the kids. I used to be sane before I started teaching. Perhaps. At least I think I was. Currently, I'm a specialist in "task avoidance". Three and a bit weeks to go.

Got cramping, but I think that's af. My dreams are always a bit,...aehm...strange. Especially the ones I get early in the morning.
