Just read a few things lovely and it says that some antihistamines can affect ovulation, I never knew this, I'm actually amazed at all the things that can cause problems ttc

PotteringAlong · 24/06/2013 21:09

I know I haven't posted but can I just say this out loud please?

I think I got a bfp earlier.

I've been feeling funny but AF not due until Wednesday and I POAS when I got home from work, so 2 days earlier and not first thing. Looked instantly, nothing, and didn't think anymore of it.

When I went up an hour later to bath DS it was still on the side and there was a very faint second line. So faint I might have been convincing myself.

I've not said anything to DH as I don't want to get his hopes up (we've been ttc DC2 for 10 months) and I don't want to get my hopes up but will test tomorrow.

I don't know what to think...

lindamagoo · 24/06/2013 21:18

Pottering that sounds promising, the tests say not to read the results after 10 mins but I'd say a line is a line, do a test with fmu tomorrow to make sure though and good luck Smile

BartBaby · 24/06/2013 21:37

pottering i would also definately check again first thing in the morning. It is possible to get an evaporation line after a while. That will be why they say not to read it after so long. I had this last month and it is rather confusing! That said though it could have just taken longer to show up an i hope you get your bfp tomorrow Grin

linda well improvised! Grin i am rather jealous if im honest as we have a choice of 3 or 4 rooms around the house and thats about it! Dont get me wrong i definately love dtd, but i cant see us winning a competition for unconventional places lol.

Hello everyone else, hope you are all ok. And welcome new people. Cd 6 for me so starting to count down the days until poas time my boobs are getting a bit more painful each day. And was nearly sick twice this morning. But its nothing i didnt feel last month so trying and failing not to think much of it

lindamagoo · 24/06/2013 21:48

Bart as much as it was exciting it was also a pain in the arse (literally) all the jaggy nettles, freezing and soaking wet, don't think we will be doing it again but glad we did, give me our bed any day, lol

apprenticemamma · 24/06/2013 21:59

pottering ..fingers crossed for you. I'm due af too and ttc no. 2 also so I am rooting for you! Linda yep all fresco in the Scottish summer is not the most comfortable..this is why medals ought to be given.. I hope you were able to take a pew immediately afterwards Wink

lindamagoo · 24/06/2013 22:39

apprentice we must have lay in they woods for about half an hour giggled up at what we'd just done, lol, then back in the caravan for some heat Smile

IWantOneNow · 24/06/2013 23:21

I haven't been on here for long but just wanted to say thx for making me feel so welcome Flowers. It's so nice to feel like I'm amongst friends, all going thro the same thing. U always think ur alone with what ur feeling ( symptom spotting, obsessing, etc) do great to be in such lovely company Smile. Good luck Pottering Wink

Vikkijayne2507 · 24/06/2013 23:25

I am also on dpo 6, boobs are still feel a lot bigger and I am struggling to get into bras and bikini and I am on holiday at the moment (OH family live abroad) so it was a bit embarrassing my 9 year old stepson looking at me very confused before i noticed on the beach Blush. Nipples are no longer tender dont know if thats a good thing or not really. Still having to wait though as I doubt poas would do me any good whatsoever. ahh dear

Vikkijayne2507 · 24/06/2013 23:27

Also even tho portugal is more exotic having the stepson around constantly and running into our room very early begging with play football does make dtd that bit harder cant really explain it to the in laws to keep hold of him whilst we dtd just couldnt broach that subject eek

ChubbyKitty · 24/06/2013 23:46

Very, very, incredibly faint line. DP knows he has his orders from mumsnet but we need to let the cheap Morrisons chicken dippers settle. Never again, Birdseye all the way!

I'm aiming for dtd just every other day so there's little chance of missing it. Although that's only if I can keep my eyes open after 8pm.

PotteringAlong · 25/06/2013 05:59

Bfn this morning.

Ah well :)

DisneyDiva87 · 25/06/2013 07:01

That sucks pottering remember to chuck that stick out after 10 mins next time so it doesn't tease you.

I'm impressed by all the unconventional loving going on too. I'd never do it in a pub toilet, I'd be too scared of getting caught. Have done it in sand dunes before years ago but that's all.

Didn't get much of a temp rise this morning but Opk was positive last night. Can't really test at work so might be negative next chance I get. DTD last night anyway an will try and do it tonight again

FoxMulder · 25/06/2013 08:08

Nice work, Linda I've always wanted to do it in a thunder storm. Although the nettles and being freezing don't sound so great.

I have done it in a castle turret and on a lake shore at night. I'm keen to try for one of the meadows round our house but DH says we'll get ticks.

Flashing smiley on the OPK this morning! Most unexpected, it's only CD12 of 31. No time for shagging though, had to get out to work!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 25/06/2013 08:37

Hello, marking my place on this bus for when af inevitably shows up in next few days... Cd 22 today which means I am already a day later than last cycle which is good. Got a peak fertility symbol on my cb digi on cd 5 of the cycle so did smep but bfn on Sunday and I just know af is on her way, especially as if that was correct I'd be more than 14dpo by now. I hate having such irregular cycles after being a clockwork 28 day girlie in my early thirties! Good luck to everyone on the bus Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 25/06/2013 10:05

A castle turret Fox? Did you own the castle or was it a national trust property that you were visiting?

DisneyDiva87 · 25/06/2013 10:43

Has anyone been watching The White Queen on BBC? I can't stop day dreaming about King Edward (Max Irons)...

FoxMulder · 25/06/2013 11:07

I do not own the castle, no Grin Nor is it National Trust or anything, it's just there. It's mostly a ruin. From the 15th century, if that helps paint the picture. This was back in the day when me and DH were shagging near constantly.

I've not seen the 2nd White Queen yet. King Edward is pretty hot, but I went off him a bit when he tried to attack the (now) queen in the first episode!

LittleMissPear · 25/06/2013 11:07

Hi all, I seem to have slipped off the list! I have also name changed (was closef) so can I be put back on?

LittleMissPear, TTC1, cycle 2, BPF due 16 July.

Just started with the opk today so quite excited to find out when I am actually ovulating. I am a bit worried that it will be this coming weekend when I'm away at a hen do and won't be able to DTD though.

FoxMulder · 25/06/2013 11:10

I just googled and it is a 12th century castle. Historical accuracy. It's important. Smile

DisneyDiva87 · 25/06/2013 11:20

Maybe that explains why I only started fancying the pants off him in the 2nd episode.

lindamagoo · 25/06/2013 11:20

Oh I will have to up my game here! A castle sounds a bit more romantic than my jaggy nettle experience, lol, the only other outdoors encounter we've had is the high school 5 a side pitch, don't worry though it wasn't during school hours, lol Grin

FoxMulder · 25/06/2013 11:27

It wasn't very romantic, we were constantly looking out people who looked like they might be about to climb the turret.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 25/06/2013 11:59

The last time I dtd outside, a wall collapsed. It was a proper earth moves moment Wink

lindamagoo · 25/06/2013 12:47

Lol purple, you must have been going hard at it to knock a wall down Grin
