TTC #2 since Dec 2012. 2 mc and here I am still trying.

Came off the pill end of December... First few cycles were 29,31 then 30 days. Then suddenly last month has a 48 day cycle!
Must've been a weird one off cos I seem to be back to normal (ish) this month! Phew!

Just googed sounds like a good plan. Unfortunately I won't be able to go it as DH Is in the Military & only home at weekends so times we can dtd are limited :(

It's a great plan but actually not as easy as it sounds if you work funny shifts or aren't always home!

I think the key is to dtd as much as you can (every other day is good but I'm sure every couple of days is fine) up until you get a positive OPK... And then dtd 3 days in a row

Well after me saying I ovulate late I got a smiley face on cb digital (no flashing ) this morning so that's great timing when DP is away. I peed on a normal clear blue and it was neg and a cheap strip neg too. (yes slightly obsessing). Perhaps I should poas less and shag more, might help.

Ok I got my first positive opk today ... Faint line yesterday (so we dtd) and much darker line when I tested this afternoon. So if I'm following the plan I guess we need to dtd for today and next 2 days right?

I'm on CD 18 but had a very long cycle. Would be perfect if we were lucky this week but I won't count my chickens!

We're trying to do this but between coming back from holiday and being ill we haven't been DTD much! Luckily I haven't ovulated yet so fingers crossed things get better.

Well between DP being away and DD having a horrible bout of tonsillitus all weekend we are pretty much out for this month.

Oh well . Tomorrow is a new day.

It's all very well trying to follow the plan but when things like DPs being away and illness get in the way it becomes tougher.

Argh this TTC lark is driving me nuts! We dtd thurs, sat and sun. Got positive opk sun afternoon. Just been to loo and think I have ewcm. Think I'd like to dtd again tonight to cover bases but to be honest we are both knackered and poor DH is getting a little stage fright.

How do you keep the magic alive?!

Give up on magic. I think TTC is the least sexy sex you can have. Especially if you have a toddler.

My OPKs seem to have got lost in transit from Amazon and I'm now on day 12. I usually ovulate around day 13/14 so I'm planning on dtd tonight and the next couple of nights although DH is out tomorrow night and I'm out Weds night so it's going to be crap late night quickies. Hey ho!

I am also attempting smep and, so far gave managed cd7, 8, 10, 11 and 12.
I had a +ive opk on cd11 but also on cd12 - does that mean I have to count my 3 days from cd12? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes but 5 days straight is looking pretty monumental - we're no newly weds!

Currently on CD20 myself and have been trying the SMEP this month, wowzer's Im knackered so's DH! We need to get fitter! LOL

Been TTC #2, #1 took 5 yrs to come a long and 2 MC's prior to him but tbh I think a lot of that time was wasted on lack of knowledge!

Been casually trying for #2 since July 2012 but the last this last cycle I thought it was time to try harder! So I took Angus Castus to help regulate my cycle (this is what helped concieve DS!) soooooo Im hoping for a BFP in about 11/12 days! Otherwise I will be needing redbull for DH & I to keep up with the SMEP! ;) x

Well we managed to dtd last night although it was very functional. DH has actually asked for a night off tonight to recharge his balls! Hoping to try again weds but we shall see.

AF due around 18th so last few days of opportunity now.

Not sure if is psychological or not but my boobs are very tender today? Maybe a sign of ovulation? Presumably can't be pg sign this early

Anyone else testing in about 2 weeks?

I'm due 16th but as i guess I am ov'ing now or last night will realistically start testing in 10 days :) I just can't help myself.

I have two AF tracker apps on my phone who suggest 18th/19th is when AF is due. SMEP website suggests taking a pg test 14 days from positive OPK which would be 16th.

So I will basically be peeing on sticks for three days as of Sunday 16th!!

Well I may be back in the games. My weird peak at cd11 on clearblue went straight to neg and now I am getting a flashing smiley. Cd14 and ewcm. Think peak was a false surge if that's possible????? We are going to be busy the next 3-5 days then testing in two weeks jazzcat will keep u company on wait. Just hope my none plan filleting before high dosen't count is out.

accidental. I always say I will wait till period late then ending up testing from 10 DPo. Just can't help myself.

If AF comes I will be following plan to the letter next month.
