Carol Andrews...becoming pregnant - anyone tried?

In an effort to find out why it's taking so long to conceive No 2 (erm..apart from my great age) I am surfing the net and found loads of stuff from a Carol Andrews who has a 'Secret' to an infallible way of conceiving that you can find out if you buy her book for $30 or something.

Sorry if this has been covered before (the archive search is down at the moment), but has anyone actually read this book? I am not sure that I believe it in all truth, but of course I want a magic fix! Not all this nutrition and exercise...

I am not sure who it is but whenever i go searching the internet for help, i alway end up on a page where a lady says she tried for years with no joy and then found the secret but again you have to buy her book.

The best advice i have been given from this site is to read 'taking charge of your fertility' takes a while to get into but once you have it is really interesting.
