Hello

I have a 1 year old boy who I have breast fed and have just slowly stopped breast feeding obver a period of 2 months the night feed I dropped 1 week ago. I am wondering when my periods will start as I want to start trying for another one, I used to have poly cystic ovaries and so my periods were every 49 days - very hard to know when to conceive. Any advise on which are the best kits to buy to tell whether you are ovulating and any other methods which are good.

Any advice would be great!! thank you :)

Hi foxy, I only breast fed my ds for 15 weeks, I cant remember when my periods started but ds was born 21st Feb05 and my lmp was 4th Nov05 so conception happened relativly quickly for me. I'm due roughly 10th Aug.

There doesn't seem to be any particular rule to it.

Mine returned at 5 months both times despite still exclusively breastfeeding at that point. Fed DS until 12 months, DD until 19 months.

Sorry, no help.

I did use an ovulating kit for my second pregnancy, as my AF is a little irregular, and it worked for me. Cant remember the name of the brand though. Also, didnt happen first time.

good luck and have fun Wink
