I think I'm about to fall asleep at my desk this afternoon, this is really not good. Very warm and humid in the office today, and not much work going around to keep me awake! I've just tried making some fudge for the first time, I'm nervously waiting for it to set.

Ahh it's so obvious now! I was coming up with some crazy ideas.
The fudge seems to be setting well, it's a bit messy though. I've made it for my work friends birthday which is tomorrow. I hate it when baking goes wrong Sweetie, it's so disappointing.

The Zita West book came today, I've read the first part about fertility. I've not learned anything new yet but it's still interesting reading. I'm definitely not dtd enough, I can't manage 3-4 times a week (unless its around ovulation). I'd say we are lucky to manage 2 times a week. I think that's plenty after being together for 9 years! If only we had ttc to conceive during our early twenties when we were at it like rabbits

I've just come back from the hairdressers and I didn't have my usual hairdresser as she's away, so this guys talking away as they do and then suddenly asks 'have you got any kids?' I reply no not yet but he was quite sweet as the next thing he said was, 'my advice, don't leave it too late and keep trying, it took me and my wife 2 years and she was initially told she could never have kids' He goes it just happened out of nowhere. I'm glad he didn't ask me any further questions though.

I've never been brave enough to even attempt anything half as tricky-sounding apart from a very brief foray into the world of jam-making, where I made some fabulous black-currant-flavoured concrete The Zita West book certainly does emphasise the need for frequent SWI/SFF! On the plus side, though MrG refused to read the pages I bookmarked about how sperm need to be regularly refreshed, he has been very good at refreshing his boys manually if we've not SWI/SFF'd for a few days.

Well, overtime is officially over, and my overtime sheet has been signed. I will get the equivalent of 41 hours' extra pay in May's paypacket but I don't think I could have kept it up for even one more weekend. Thank gawd Year End only comes round once a year! I'm 4DPO today. It won't hurt for me to have a bottle glass of wine to celebrate, will it?

Just popping in with a quick embie update for you all before we set off. Appointment at 2pm.

So all 4 are still going strong - YEAH
We have a grade 1 with 7 cells, a molecular (I think this is what she said but basically it is the stage before blasto usually seen on day 4) , a grade 2 with 8 cells and a grade 3 with 6 cells. So they were really happy with this. They want to continue to culture the 8 & 6 cell embies over the weekend in case they get to blasto and can be frozen.

Of course now me and DH worry by having 2 strongest put back we may get twin quads but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
