Trying to conceive.....HELP!

Hi I'm new to mumsnet, and just after some help and advice regarding the above subject.

I've been on various oral contraceptives for nearly 5 years, and me husband and I have spoken about wanting to now try for a baby. For the last at least 2 years I've been in Cerazette. I've read some bad reviews about it, but I can't say I've had many bad side effects!

Anyway, just after some useful advice as to what is best to do with coming off the pill? Any handy tips, or if people could give me an idea on how long it took them to conceive after coming off the pill.

Definitely can. I fell pregnant first month of TTC after stopping Cerazette.

Did you have a bleed between stopping the pill and falling?

Yes, I seem to recall it says in the Cerazette you should have a 'normal' period first which is what I did. I might be misremembering that though.....!

Misremembering what the leaflet said that is..... Definitely remember waiting until I'd had a period.

Hmm weird as I'm on my third pill free day but no period! Also, (sorry if this is too much info!) but I'm having a lot more discharge than normal, is this a good sign?!

Yes it is a good sign. your discharge changes throughout the month. When it is clear and like egg white is when you are at your most fertile, and you generally feel "wetter" around your fertile time. If it is thicker white discharge then you are not in the most fertile time of the month.

Best get hubby to try and pop a seed in there then! Thanks, i've never noticed any dramatic changes in that area before!

Hi im new 2 this also.. in 2006 I gor the implant in my arm after 2n half years on that I went straight on cerazette n took it until approx 2 weeks ago. 2 days after stopping it I had a period but a week before coming off cerazette I had a period too as soon as my period ended (lasted approx 3 days) we started trying to conceive n have been having sex every day yesterday I started feeling very dizzy and have also my boobs r really sore and nipples r sore 2 touch any ideas anyone? Could I b pregnant or is it too soon or maybe I want it so bad my bodys playing tricks on me ?
