CLOMID QUESTION

i have been put on clomid, and on second day, of first cycle, and am sooooooooo tired, i carnt keep my eyes open, been asleep most of the day, not ill just tired
as this happened to anyone whos on it???

Fourth cycle of it just finished. Just about to go for my first day 12-14 scan on Thursday....

Not made it to day 21 for the blood test!!! my cycle is only normally 18-19 days ....

How about you?

My story is invloved...be prepared...
I was on clomid this exact time two years ago for three months May, June & July after ttc for nearly 5 years. I feel pg in August after taking a months break due to work commitments - I wasn't able to take time off work for the scan so we decided to leave it a month.
Very healthy pregnancy and a VERY lively baby! As it turned out he was far too lively because he got his cord in a knot and when he 'dropped down' to be born (very well behaved on his due date!!), the cord tightened and he died.
Only found out when I went into natural labour that evening and the midwife came round to assess whether I should stay at home or go into hospital yet...
..so rather a nasty shock.
Am very pleased that I have been prescribed clomid again for three more month as I have a luteal phase defect which the clomid seems to sort out.
Here's hoping!! :)

Tracce & Gingerbear.... you are not alone. This is the fab thing with the internet, there are soo many of us on clomid, all suffering the same everymonth. I love having a read and post when i am down, desperate or excited.... TTC is a rollercoaster of emotions xXx

At least i now know clomid can work for people.... no joy even lenghtening my cycle LOL , but you give me hope. i have unexplained infertility !!!! waiting laperoscopy end of June but hoping scan will show something Thursday....

nothing except 100mgs clomid. nothing else ever suggested.

I had unexplained infertility. They put me on clomid while I was on the waiting list for IUI. Then as I said I fell pg after that...but...after my boy died I 'discovered' MN after ttc for another 9 months and thinking it would be FOREVER again and, after reading several posts from people, realised that I might have this luteal phase defect. Did tests and discovered I did have.
The fertility clinic didn't even consider it and my local gynae doesn't even recognise it as a real thing??!! How can that be??!!!

we cost the nhs too much money to look deeper, which gets to me, as i never have a day off sick or claim anything.... nevermind, one day it will all be EXPLAINED ...LOL

thanks Rachee, i know we all feel the same, it just some times it gets to much to handel.

coggy. every time i read your story i cry, i think you are a very brave woman to try again.
