Pcos and waiting for period to return after finishing breastfeeding.....

Hi, my son is nearly one and I finished breastfeeding around 3 months ago. I have pcos and my period hasn't returned. I have put on weight since I had him (despite putting on very little whilst pregnant.......wtf!?) Would love to hear experiences of other ladies with pcos and when periods returned after breastfeeding as thinking about TTC again. Thanks.

Once I stopped fully breastfeeding both of them when they went on solids at 6 months. (although I still bf until they were both 9 months).
