Hello all!

I've been lurking for a few weeks since beginning ttc recently, so thought it was time I posted something!

I think I ovulated yesterday (and dtd) so will now have my fingers crossed until 7th feb when AF if due. Anyone want to keep me company?! I'm ready to obsessively symptom spot and look out for implantation pain!

As background, we've been careful on and off since November, but are active ttc this month. Trying to be patient knowing this could take ages yet! I already have a nearly 13 yo ds from a previous relationship.

Huge congrats When, try not to worry, I'm sure it will turn out good for you this time.

I can't sleep for thinking and wondering just now. Cramps off and on last few days and sore boobs for past week, but then it's the same every month so who knows! I guess I could just do a test, but then if its too early it will be neg anyway and mess with my head. Its driving me crazy though - coping strategies anyone?

Tiny I'm in the same boat! No sore bbs though, which is different to when AF is due this cycle, but I've decided not to waste a test. Will POAS first thing Sun. I talked myself out of POAS today, because it is likely to be neg as its possibly too soon to teel and then I'd just want to test everyday!

I have no coping strategies unfor. OH has decided for me that I won't POAS now, because the "shall I, shan't I" is driving me crackers!

I need to go for a walk or something, choose hubby's Valentines present. Care for a walk Tiny? We can obsess together? lol

A walk would be good LLL! That's what I usually do to clear my head. Maybe I'll POAS too if I get to Sun with no af, although feeling like may start any minute.x

Can I join? I have a DD (15 months) and am now TTC...I'd forgotten how horrible the 2ww is! Am due Sat/Sun I think but had mirena coil before, just removed at new year, so I'm prob being optimistic imagining my cycle is going to have gone back into a nice pattern!
Have been super-weepy this month, but no other symptoms really... Doesn't look good! Am going to try and hold off to test on sat...

Tiny No! Af won't arrive! You're going to think I'm utterly mad, but I am watching youtube videos on the following:

I have been feeling really rundown recently though - dry/itchy skin, feeling exhausted, mouth a bit funny. I'm prob just getting I'll aren't I?! Can't help but over-analyse and hope though. Gah!

AF is on her way today. All crampy & grumpy etc :( so end of feb, beginning of march is our lucky time.

Just started 2ww...should ovulate today. Fingers crossed. Can only wait now. I hate waiting.
honey My AF is due round about the same time as yours. Let's hope it doesn't get here.

Hopping back in this thread! 1 week-ish to go until my period is due! Praying it doesn't come.. Or that if comes+goes fast so me and DH can crack on with TTC and DTD as much as poss! Haha. Really can't be bothered to dtd right now or atall for the next week.. And probably won't anyway cos I'm doing some nightshifts.
Arrgghhhhhhhh this wait is painful.

Thanks LLL, you've made me feel more positive. Still no af but feel really down today, especially since my mum has just told me that a fourth close member of my family is pregnant.

I feel like everyone around me is pregnant......or TTC and will all get there before me! Guess that's probably how everyone feels and our time will come!
Positive thinking is the only way... Being negative is so counter productive for me as it puts me off dtd! Happy pregnant thoughts for everyone!

Hi ladies,
I've come for pancakes, realise I'm 3days late but I don't mind gnashing on the first one which always ends up in the bin (at least in my house)!
Ttcnfor our first, off the pill 1st jan, AF 1/4th feb and feel that maybe I'm OV for the past couple of days, punchy type feeling on right side, the other night had a very strange feeling , like AF cramps but not as bad, and feeling a bit sicky today... Sounds good? Think I'm obsessed already, uh oh!

Hi all,

Well af turned up today, right as scheduled... the positive is that my cycles are still regular so I'm hoping that is a good sign... sad though and wondering whether it is time for me to give up and just accept that dd is going to be an early child... for some reason I really don't want to be pg at 40 and I am 39 in June.

Hope the rest of you in 2ww have better luck.

POAS tonight (due tomorrow... I think...no idea what my cycle is now) - BFN. Oh poo. Going to go and drown my sorrows in a glass of wine.

Felt really sick last night so I decided to POAS, surprise surprise BFN. I've obviously just got a bug or something. Still no af and boobs not so sore anymore, so no idea what's going on. Totally fed up and hubby getting fed up of me being down all the time. Hope everyone else coping.

This thread seems to have quietened down this week. I decided to come off the forum to give myself a break, not because I was getting obsessed at all! lol

To update: POAS on Friday = BFN. Af was due Sunday, she's not here. I'm not POAS because I just want to wait until I'm sure. FX for you all!

Still no AF. Ignoring this until the weekend when I might POAS. Otherwise I'll just leave it as long as possible lol
