Hi,

Can I join in? AF due yesterday, still not here but had BFN yesterday and the day before. I keep getting twinges like it's about to start, but not sure whether I am imagining themor not! Been trying for a couple of years now and have my first appointment with the specialist next week so this would be great timing!

Sonics · 21/01/2013 15:10

Can I join too as I'm going more mental than normal this month!!

I have also struggling to control the google urges and am totally convinced I'm pg. I'm due on sat 26th. Dh has hidden my tests to stop me giving into the urge this week. I've been having crazy vivid dreams for the last few nights. Also feeling knackered this afternoon and slightly sickly. Had a few twinges in my lower abdomen this afternoon too.

I have also been super grumpy!!

Fingers crossed for all of us.

We've been trying for 2 years. Had a missed miscarriage last year as well farmers so have sympathy for your friend. Mine also stopped developing at 6 weeks but wasn't picked up until 12 week scan. All that throwing up was for nothing!!

Roll on Saturday Wink

Marrick · 21/01/2013 17:26

I'm kind of convinced I'm not....but still no AF! I keep getting twinges and thinking it's about to arrive, but nothing.Sorry about your missed miscarriage Sonics, hope it happens for you this time (and everyone else). It's really odd, this is the first time I've joined one of these threads I think, although I always read them!

littlepinkfizz · 21/01/2013 18:56

AF due next Wednesday 30 th. holding out little hope as its cycle 6 for me...

farmersdaugther · 21/01/2013 19:38

FUCK.....

I just wrote a huge long message to your all and then I lost it. BUGGER.

Welcome to Lula, Marrick and Sonics!

This morning I felt very sick and faint. Only for about 10 mins. Wasn't too bad, maybe it was due to me about to go to a spin class and my body wasn't happy about 45mins of pain! Yet, yesterday and the day before, I have felt very sick in the evenings. I don't wait to over analyse things...

but either I'm sick or 'it worked' Confused

Just out of interest, how old is everyone and number of DC's?

I'll start: 31, TTC2

Hey all!

I've only just started TTC for the first time ever (becoming an Auntie in August got the old clock chiming I think!!), but I was due to see AF on 17th Jan.....still nothing! I am convinced I am not up the old spout as I only came off the pill on 30th December......but then we have been quite 'busy' Wink

Probably just my cycle a bit messed up......and once AF has been we can practice a bit more!

Oh, and I'm 30 btw

Clare x

TTC # 1 and aged 35. Although we've only been officially trying for a year, we were trying on and off for a while before that.

Out of the running this month now though as AF arrived earlier :-(

Hi lyndsey, welcome. The worst bit of the 2ww is the last few days I think! Hope you get your bfp, twinges could mean anything, hard to tell at this stage. Are you testing? x

Sonics · 22/01/2013 11:33

I need help!! I asked my dh to hide my tests so I didn't give in and POAS before the weekend but I'm thinking of going and buying a test on my lunch break.

Give me some strength please ladies!!!

lulabelleg · 22/01/2013 11:40

I'm 37 and ttc DC 3. I'm older now so I think it's against me and DH is not quite so ehem enthusiastic anymoreBlush. Due today so a lot of knicker checking!! i'm utterly convinced I can feel it on its way so I'm holding out little expectation. we're going on holiday in August so it's not the best idea anyway but if it doesn't happen soon we may have to stop for all sorts of practical reasons. Sonic be strong, it's only disappointing and expensive if you test too early. I had BFN's first with both my other pregnancys as tested too early though and i am having a full on internal struggle not to test this morning!!

lyndsey90 · 22/01/2013 11:43

Sonics no! That's naughty!! Be patient, save your money and wait lol :)

setayharas · 22/01/2013 11:46

Don't do it sonic it's a waste of money! Save the tenner or whatever u would spend and get yourself something nice with the money Instead!

Saying that I'm 8dpo and considering starting to use my Internet cheapies just because I have about 50 and I can.

Ttc1
Cycle 3
I'm 25

Absolutely no symptoms :(

Sonics · 22/01/2013 11:50

Thanks ladies!! I'm so convinced I'm pg this month I just really want to know.

Saturday seems like a very long way away at the minute

I'm 32
Cycle number I've lost count (2 years)
TTC#1

lyndsey90 · 22/01/2013 11:53

I tested day before af due as I've come down with a cold (not had a cold all winter) but got bfn. Might test tomorrow if she doesn't show today. Am 1 day late but this might be cause of my cold? X

Sonics · 22/01/2013 11:54

Setay let me know how you get on with your cheapies. That's what my DH has hidden so it makes no sense to go and spend loads of money on a decent test.

I bloody hate this week!!!

Thanks for keeping me strong Smile

Sonics · 22/01/2013 12:03

Lynds, apparently AF won't be delayed by any stresses at the time you're due as it will always relate to what time in the month you ovulated. The time between ov and AF should always be the same, so although ov can be delayed in the month by stress, the start of AF shouldn't be. If that makes sense!

farmersdaugther · 22/01/2013 16:35

Oh Marrick that is literally pants!!! Thanks

AF due in 2 days here and I've broken and POAS.....BFN.
I never learn, I very nearly cried!

Time for Wine

Marrick · 22/01/2013 17:37

Brilliant news Lulabelleg - congratulations! How exciting Grin

lulabelleg · 22/01/2013 17:46

thank you marrick- i am keeping everything crossed for you and everybody on this thread on mumsnet and in the world

littlepinkfizz · 22/01/2013 18:05

Great news lulabelleg! It means Big Fat Positive!!

Congratulations Grin

How long have you been trying for?
What was your secret to getting a BFP? Did you just Dtd loads?

GettingObsessive · 22/01/2013 18:06

Congratulations lulabelleg!

As for me my online cheapies arrived today so I rushed upstairs to test like an idiot and it was a BFN obviously

Sigh. Another week of waiting.

lulabelleg · 22/01/2013 18:24

littlepinkfizz- I worked out today that we've been kind of trying for 9 months- 8 cycles I think as they are quite long. Properly trying for 5 cycles but this is the first time we used the ov sticks. Same as with DC1. Not much DTD just good timing and raising legs in the air for a while afterwards- who knows if that works but maybe it all counts!
