Hello! I am new to mumsnet and looking for advice!

My husband and I made the big decision to ditch contraception and go for it! In fact, dh is less nervous about it all than I am and is very excited about the whole thing! However, having spent the whole of my adult life so far trying to avoid getting pregnant, I have no idea as to whether it is even possible!
What are the early signs that might give away that I might be pg? I don't expect it to happen for a while but it would be nice to know if there was anything I could look out for, apart from the lack of af of course! Thank you in advance! I am 29 and my husband is 30.
:)

I get
metallic taste
sore boobs - very distinctive
wee a lot
extremely tired - asleep by 7 pm sort of tired.

Have fun Grin

For me the symptoms were:

sore boobs - like breathe on them and they hurt!
metallic taste
weeing for England
over sensitive sense of smell
followed by all day sickness and nausea

The symptom I didn't have:

stoppage of periods.

Guess which list I faithfully believed in for going on 4 months? Smile

Hi Maazaa, I'm a first-timer as well.

Have you been on the stats thread yet? It's a little bit down the conception thread list.

I'm dead nosy.

Hope you get to jump to the ante-natal threads very soon! Grin
