Thecatwilldofornow · 18/01/2013 07:44

Yaaaaaay Pink! Grin

hoping2beamum · 18/01/2013 07:49

wOWOWOWOW congratulations Pinkapple. wishing you a very happy & healthy 9 months!

Hi Hopefulfairy Fx'd for that BFP very soon for you

MoC I used the smallest amount of Preseed last night & it was like an ice rink!! So much for the DH not noticing lol. Didnt even fill it to 1 on the applicator so it was a tinsy tiny amount compared to the amount being suggested in the directions booklet! is too much counter productive to the little swimmers? Not the best experience with it, i have to say! I think we are quite close in cd's, I am on cd13 at the moment & hoping for that little eggy to show up on the cbfm tomorrow or Sunday. Are you following the SMEP plan?

Hope everyone is looking forward to a good weekend Smile

MotherOfCleo · 18/01/2013 12:41

Way to go pink Grin AMAZING!!!!

hoping haha, someone on another thread said their OH referred to it as dipping his dick in a paddling pool lol. Maybe I'm really not using enough then??? I'm using probably a teaspoon full or maybe a little bit more, the OH hasn't said anything.
I'm on CD16 so yep we are pretty close, I've kind of made it up as I go along this month, gone for the shagathon approach Wink so far DTD on CD4 (twice) CD7, CD9, CD11, CD12, CD13, CD14, CD15, I was hoping to the DTD CD16, CD18, CD20 and CD22 but my OH is now, for the first time ever, close to refusing to have sex.....never thought I'd see the day! So I think I may have to give him tonight off! Then perhaps go for every other day for a few days. I got positive OPKs on Tuesday and Wednesday so I think I must have OVd by now.
I haven't had any OV pains but my nips are agony which I think can be another sign of OV so FX my robust little egg is about to meet and fall in love with one of the OH olympic swimmers! Smile

hoping2beamum · 18/01/2013 14:12

Haha MoC that is a brilliant description of what we felt last night! lol. i think you are probably using the right amount for you if your OH hasnt noticed anything...thats the way i wanted to play it but the ice rink last night gave it away!! Wow you have been busy this month!! maybe tonight off would give him the boost he needs for next week Wink fingers crossed for you this month, really hope you get your BFP. Have you tried the visulisation technique after you've ov'd? my friend said it helped her after a few years of trying for her baby. You just need 10 mins to visualise the sperm falling in love with the egg and bursting through it to fertilisation!! cant do any harm!! Postive thoughts Smile

Blockette · 18/01/2013 18:10

Feel really bloated today :( and just had (TMI time) a bit of brown-ish discharge. I think AF is on the way! (Finally!) which means I can cancel my dr's appointment next week - bonus!

Thundercatsarego · 18/01/2013 19:04

Sorry about the bloated block and sorry it wasn't bfp instead but good if you finally know where you are and can crack on with next cycle. Wine?

PinkApple86 · 18/01/2013 22:21

Thanks everyone. Still doesn't feel real. Made a Dr app today to make it all official etc.
Thanks fl0 I will check out that thread, and hope to see u all on the other soon. X

HopefulFairy · 19/01/2013 08:28

Congratulations Pink, that's fantastic news!

Hi all, hope you're enjoying the snow or are at least snuggled up inside. Have a query I'm hoping you can help with me.

I'm currently on CD22 and have been experiencing cramping for the last 4 days. Also have a sharper, stitch-like pain on one side. I think I Oved around CD14+AF not due for another 6ish days. I know there's such a thing as implantation cramping but I think it started too early+has gone on too long to be that. Also too early to be AF cramps. Anyone else experienced this or know what it might be? Trying to convince myself that it's nothing pregnancy related but can't help but be a little hopeful it might be. Confused!! Confused

HonniBee · 19/01/2013 20:32

Congratulations Pink! Great news.

Sorry, I can't help Hopeful.

I'm feeling really shit as AF has just arrived a few days early. Didn't have much hope for this month after various illnesses throughout my cycle put a dampener on DTD, but still really annoying. Ah well, DH has kindly gone to acquire chocolate for me and I will buck up to start cycle 2 of TTC.

Blockette · 19/01/2013 21:04

Did you test thunder? Any news from anyone else? AF still hasn't kicked in yet but I'm sure she's on her way! - did another test though just incase - bfn not surprised though.

  • I had the same problem hoping maybe I'm using too much?
  • Sorry Honni you can share my Chocolate stash if you want?
  • don't have a clue Hopeful, but maybe implantation, isn't that meant to be about 5-6 days before AF is due? (Fxed)

Do we have anyone to update on our list?

Thundercatsarego · 20/01/2013 11:37

Hey all. Yeah block tested yesterday at 12 dpo ish with a FRER and bfn, so I really think I'm out this cycle. Understandable really I guess. I'll have a but of chocolate Smile

Blockette · 20/01/2013 12:30

Ohh thunder I'm so sorry :(

Thundercatsarego · 20/01/2013 12:42

That would be a bit not a but of course. Thanks block, next cycle for us?

Blockette · 20/01/2013 23:15

Defiantly! When my next cycle decides to show up .... AF still not here!(tmi!) A bit of spotting but only when I pee!? Do I count this as AF? Glad ive got that dr app next week :(

Thundercatsarego · 21/01/2013 08:08

That is just bizarre block - wth's going on?! Hope you get some answers at the docs. I'm waiting for af too now- day 30 so hope I'm not going to join you in a wtf cycle!

hoping2beamum · 21/01/2013 08:24

Sounds like you are having a very confusing time block Sad. Hopefully the dr will be able to shed some light on whats going on this week. nothing worse than not knowing whats going on with your own body. lots of chocolate and tea for you.

Sorry Hopeful not sure what is going on there.

Not sure what our chances are this month, we dtd on cd 8, 10, 12 and 15. DH was too drunk on cd14 and too hungover yesterday morning (cd15) so only managed it last night. Unfortunately i got my peak on the cbfm on sat (cd14) and yeterday (cd15) so not sure if we have done enough this month but fingers crossed.

MotherOfCleo · 21/01/2013 16:35

block feeling frustrated for you! Sad

hoping how does the cbfm work? Does it pick up the LH surge like an OPK? If so is it not saying you will OV in the next 12 - 48 hours? If so by DTD on the CD15 you may well be ok.....I would jump him again tonight though just to be sure. Grin Although I have no idea how the CBFM works so that may be rubbish advice although extra swimmers certainly can't do any harm Wink

hoping2beamum · 21/01/2013 17:37

thanks MoC, feeling a little frustrated that we might not have done enough but trying to stay positive and use the visulising techniques that plenty of my girlfriends say helped them conceive. Hoping the little swimmers from the 17th were still hanging around if i ovulated on Saturday. Used a bit of preseed on the 17th and last night (much less last night than before) so hopefully that has helped the little swimmers too. DH has a very low sex drive so tonight might not be an option...dont want to push my luck as he's been more than tolerant of me jumping off the top of the wardrobes onto him so many nights this cycle! Grin
The cbfm works the same as OPK's, it picks up the LH surge but it also gives you high fertility days before your peak days. its a handy but expensive little tool! Its about £115 for the monitor and then a pack of 20 sticks are around £25. you use between 10 - 20 a month.

How are you doing? what cd are you on now?

block hope you are feeling a bit better today. any change?

Blockette · 23/01/2013 10:23

How is everyone today? Anyone due to test? Poor Thunder will start having test withdrawals soon!

Still no change from me, but that strange AF must have been AF as its stopped now ... It was 3 weeks late and I didn't even need a pad! - We will see what doc has to say on Friday.

Wow hoping that sounds expensive! Is it easy to use?

we need to get our list up and running again!! hoping, MoC when are you due for testing?

Blockette Cycle 5/6 BFP due Jan 3rd - (WTF Cycle)

Thundercatsarego · 23/01/2013 10:29

I will I will! This is a pretty quiet Fred eh?!

block, that's so strange isn't it?! Mine also hasn't showed- I'm on cd 33 now, but I think it's to be expected with the mmc. Doesnt mean I don't want her to show up so I can get going again. Although if she comes after next Monday then if we're successful in Feb, I'll be a chunk of money better off than if she comes before!

hoping2beamum · 23/01/2013 10:59

Hi!

Hope the doc has good news for you on Friday block or is able to shed some light on it all for you, have you ever had anything like this before? When was the last time you tested?

The cbfm is very easy to use...you poas first thing in the morning and put it into the monitor for it to read the LH levels..it gives you low fertility days, high fertility days and peak days. its very handy for monitoring your ovulation days and high days usally show up 3 days before peak days so you get a good chance of sperm meeting an egg at some point during the cycle. you can buy them on ebay much cheaper than in the chemists.

I am currently 3dpo and BFP due 2nd Feb. I hve terrible bloating yesterday & today and very gassy. Hoping these are good signs.

Thunder - really hope she shows up soon so that you can start trying again.

Thundercatsarego · 23/01/2013 11:31

Oo fx hoping!

aMuminwaiting · 23/01/2013 14:43

Can I join please? I'm three days late but have had negative tests. I did a lloyds pharmacy own one yesterday which left a VERY faint line but it was after the testing time and not as thick as the line going across. I did one this morning and the blue dye seemed to hang around the vertical line for ages! It seemed to vanish though and when I got back from walking my dog it was there VERY faintly again. I don't know what's going on. I'd usually have several days of spotting before coming on but this time all I've had is one tiny speck of dark blood in mucus the day before I was due on. This is my first cycle of trying since losing my last baby in September. My last two cycles were normal 28 day ones. According to the opk this one should have been 30 days. I need to know when I'm pregnant asap as I have to take clexane injections. Wish it would make it's mind up one way or the other and stop me from going mad!
