Hey guys. I really hope those who are wondering if they're pregnant figure it out soon. I'm sooo grumpy right now and I'm only a few days after ovulation so god knows how I'm gonna hack the rest of this waiting. I hate it. I just want to be pregnant.
My friend asked me today whether we were thinking of having another one. I just had to say yeh kinda thinking about. She said oh don't leave it too long cos of the age gap, I know she meant well but Grrr I know that!

Could it be he's acting not bothered Mumsbags? DP is wonderful and supportive, but sometimes he does need time where it is not talked about. Suppose he hasn't got the amazing support of MN behind him. Not something you chat about with your mates over a pint either. I feel sorry for him sometimes.

I'm anxious about what I tell my ex husband and when . been divorced for 2 years so technically none of his business but I still think he will spit his dummy out . and I hope he doesn't fill my dd head full of crap . thank god he lives on the other side of country and she only sees him once a month weekend and every school holiday . he was not happy when I met my dp so this will be a barrel of laughs . I wouldn't mind but we split in 2009 and me and my partner only been together a year . but its what we want we not getting any younger and my dd loves him and he loves her . and she well looked after bordering on spoilt . so really he shouldn't complain . but I know him too well when I got with my partner my ex asked me why was I doing this to him ?? did he expect my life to stop ?

also what was IDOING to him ?? living life after . did he expect me to become an old cat lady ?? any advice ?? could do with my head getting a wobble so I don't worry till January !

Sounds like he's a nightmare nicnic, but you're right that you don't need his permission to have a life. You enjoy your pregnancy (whoop!) and try not to worry. After all, you have no control over, and no way of knowing how he'll feel about it. So he's just going to have to deal with that himself. Not your responsibility!

Congrats to nicnic though! Don't worry about your ex, how he reacts is nothing to do with you. You don't even have to tell him until you're further on as it is exactly none of his business!

Am off to find a new hiding place, cycle day 37 (allegedly 17dpo) for me and no bfp, caved and tested this morning, but no af either. Still feel dizzy and yuck and tmi but i checked my cervix and its well and truly closed and high out the road so its not over for me yet.

Just dropping in briefly. On my phone so difficult to include everyone in this reply as cant see what's going on!

I'm not 3 days away from AF desperate to test but can't face a bfn just now. DH and I are working loads, hardly seeing dd who is pteactically living with my mum n dad this week. On top of TTC, finishing uni, finishing dissertation and working we have been told that the landlord is moving back in so at the end of our contract we need to move out. Cue house hunt! I love this house so slightly gutted but onwards an upwards.

Im regretting saying all my symptoms of af had gone cos now theyre back, cramping and windy! ......right on cue on her due day! ....bitch.
its imminent i know it is, and at 14dpo (have tested -bfn.) i think i might be off this bus.
On a positive note, (theres one somewhere) this is my first cycle after 5 years worth of pill...so to go back to a textbook cycle is good. sighs and psychologically prepares for another month of shagging

My advice on the xp would be dont tell him. Hopefully your dd will be very excited and tell him (sorry dont know age?) and if he's any sort of daddy he won't squash her excitement and will just have to deal with it by himself while you relax and enjoy yourself xx

Sorry to hear life is so hectic hayle im also studying at the moment due to graduate in May and find that hard enough without having to work and move as well.
I did a stupidly early test this morning at 10dpo. BFN of course but still quite glad I did it. feel a bit more realistic about it as have been desperately trying to not get my hopes up and failing horrendously any symptoms I thought I had hve gone apart from crying throughout childrn in need last night (but that really was upsetting) F x to anyone else testing this weekend. im going to try and hold out now till next weekend if AF doesnt find me before then...
