Thanks Hattie :), I did say I was going to spend some (more) quality time with DH, and would be back in an hour when I had done the second test (which is what I did!!!!)

I still can't quite believe it, I had about 10 BFN's only last week!!! I really did think I had missed the boat this month and AF was just playing up because of only just coming off the pill!! Am gobsmacked!!

And my mum has had an awful last couple of days and I want to tell her the good news but can't.....!!

Well this is going to sound worse than it is but my mum will either be at the police station, or the hospital (foster son got into a fight a few weeks ago and the other kid has finaly decided to press charges, and my eldest sister is in hospital with severe tonsilitus, no idea if that is how that is spelt!!)

Also hubby said he doesn't want anyone to know yet!

And yes this will be our second, we have a DS who turned 4 on Saturday just gone, he is going to be sooooooo excited when we tell him!!

yes this is no.2 for me. Dd has excitedly thought i've had a baby in my tummy ever since she found out thats where babies come from! So we havn't exacly sat her down and told her ( i think its just too long for a 3yr old to wait), but i don't deny it now when she tells me there is one in my tummy .

She keeps saying, does it really come out of your bottom? with a snigger.

Our DS is obsessed with anything baby, he has been watching the birth programs with me on sky, and even yesterday I nicked one of his fun size mars bars out of the fridge, 2 minutes later he asked where the mars bar had gone, I said it was in my belly, and he said with the baby!! Not said a word to him about us TTC!! I don't think he actually realises (even having seen blurred pictures on telly) how the baby get's out of the belly but he sure knows that is where they come from!!

in a way i think its nice for them to just assume theres a baby there rather than being told formally and it seeming like a big deal.

i watch those discovery health channels too thats why dd asks if it comes out of bottom!

She told me that she wants daddy to have a secret baby in his tummy too.

I can't believe it still, on one hand I am telling myself I have just had two BFP's, and then on the other hand I am thinking I don't feel PG, I don't really have any symptoms except my boobs feel like they are about to explode, so I can't be PG!!!

No i don't really have any symptoms, except for sore boobs.

I have felt quite a bit of stretching and discomfort which actually did worry me, but i've been assured thats common second time round. ( but doesn't mean you'll get it so don't start looking for pains ).

And as i said earlier, i really feel things that are like kicks, but its either in the mind or somethign else.

Doc took urine sample today, so looking forward to that confirmation tomorrow as extra back up that its real!

Sorry I know this is going to sound really daft, but with being on the TTC thread for a while, I am used to talking to others who are still waiting for BFP's, I forget I am talking to other PG people now!

The only other thing I have noticed that was the same as with last PG, is that everything I eat tastes funny, I thought it was because I have been ill but I guess it is a bit of both!

You were on the TTC thread for a day or two weren't you? Sorry memory like a fish, how long were you trying, and when did you get your BFP?

I think i may have posted one message but wasn't really regular there. I prefer to keep ttc out of my mind as much as poss! for fear of becoming obsessed.

We've had a long wait because i was on the depo injection and took over a year to get periods back. Then i think its taken a few months since then - sorry i'm terrible for making note of these things!

Got positive pg test last Thursday. Had docs appt. yesterday and dropped urine sample off today for him to do pg test. Which i'm pleased about cos i know lots of docs don't bother.

Oh meant to say - i have read that funny taste can be a sign - i've never had it though.

NO, my doctor, when I was PG last time didn't do a test, but we have moved up north since so I don't have a clue of the procedure up here. I am not going to even book in for a while, they did so little I can't the point, if I wait a couple of weeks, then it will give them time to get my scan booked and everything else.

I am sorry but I am going to have to go to bed, I am really struggling to keep awake!! I will be on tomorrow though, in the day, I might pluck up the courage to come and introduce myself on the Nov. thread!!
