Second Month on Clomid and No Period but Negative Pregnancy Test

I have been on CLomid for the last 2 months. The first month it obviously didnt work. I suffered with the worse period I have ever had in my life, with servere cramp and excessively heavy bleeding. Followed the instructions the second month with the Clomid, and was hopping around on day 28 when there was no period. Did a pregnancy test but it was negative. Due to irregular periods cos of my PCOS waited until day 30 and took another test. It flashed Not Pregnant. Today is day 32 and still no period. I have another batch of Clomid to take before I go back to the hospital. The appointment, I have now realised means I will not be taking Clomid for one month. After reading so much info here on the net, I am starting to believe that Homerton Hospital is not treating me correctly, as they are only doing the blood test and not giving me an ultrasound.

At the moment I am a mess trying to get my head round everything that is happening, but I am spending more time crying than anything else and I hope that somebody will be able to offer me some advice as I am going crazy at the moment. The husband is excellent, but Im still not coping.

@ellieB2130 yes that should be very right. It's cycle day 40 for me and still no period and bfn. I guess now I just have to wait for Af Because I can't see a doctor at the moment . I feel very gutted

@Lucky there is still hope for you. Just try waiting till your 14dpo and test again. Praying for a bfp for you. Let us know how it goes

@Missybissy12 I know the feeling🙈.. I just started my 3rd batch of clomid today... Taking it at night so I can sleep through the side effects... I really hope it works this month😒.. Whether it works or not I'm not gonna try more of clomid because my cycle is so messed up.. Too much of clomid is really not good for your body..
How long are you ttc?

@LuckyLunaM it really is but just try to stay positive... The first month of clomid I was 5 days late and I really thought I was pregnant because I have never been late in my entire life, so I thought this was it.. When my period eventually came I had a huge breakdown and almost went into depression. It gets to you.. But you just have to be positive.. I hope we all receive the good news we've been praying for🌸

@ellieB2130 have been ttc for 22months now... I'm 22 years old and Dh,every month that passes makes it feel impossible for me. But let's hang in here. I pray this cycle be your bfp

Sorry didn't finish that and DH is 25 years old. Yes heard the maximum cycles you can go for is 6 in total and most woman can only go for 3 due to lining issues and developing cysts

Hi ladies. Thank you for your kind words. If it does not come till Tuesday , I will test then. I don't have any tests and don't want to queue to Boots today. Instead, I will go on a long walk.
I'm on round 3 so this is my last attempt for now. I'm 37 so I guess it will be IVF for us next. On paper, I seem to be fine. I don't have pcos or endometriosis, my prolactin is fine, progesteron levels good, I ovulate etc so it must be age related. My sister who is 31 conceived in the 1st month after coming off the pill. Well, I am geriatric so here we are. Shame my DH wasn't available to marry 10 years ago 😊 though he used to be my 1st bf fr 14~18 😁 It has taken us 17 years to get back together.

Hi, sadly my 3 attempts have failed. No appointments to see a specialist, no referrals available, no tests done. We don't even know what is wrong with us... We were told to wait for Covid-19 to pass so we can be see but even if clinics opened up now, there is a 6 months backlog plus the normal waiting time of 3—4 months by which time I might be too old for some treatments. Good luck hopeut works for you. I suffered quite a bit on Clomid.

@LuckyLunaM @Missybissy12 I've failed my third attempt as well. Unfortunately I now have cysts. I'm really irritated with the clomid not working and now having to deal with cysts again so I'm on pill to clear out the cysts.. Once it's cleared I will leave the pill and just leave it in God's hands.. I am not going to run to doctors, run for tests, take any medications for pregnancy. Since everything is normal with me and hubby, we just gonna keep trying naturally till we get it. I feel like I should have never took clomid, it didn't work, it screwed up my cycles, gave me acne and cysts. Biggest mistake of my life. But I really hope it works for whoever is taking it, I pray that you all get your bfp soon❤️

Yep, it's messed up my cycle as well. It shortened my luteral phase so now I spot for 3-4 days before AF. I had never happened to me before! It can also thin the endometrium making implementation more difficult. I still get achne 2 months later. I don't know if there is anything wrong with us because other than hormonal tests (without progesterone dat 21),we haven't had any tests done. Frustrating.

hi everyone, I've just joined desperate for information and help. Ive just had my first round of clomid and adger a lifetime of disapointment and negative results for everything i was so happy to find out i had reacted so well to it. 4 folicals were enlarged and ovulated with a high result. However late and negative tests. Reading your comments i can now see how common this can be and disapointment has returned.
I dont really have any questions in my head right now but wanted to post just to know there are others going through my pain is somewhat reassuring however sad.
So there are a few that just didn't show positive?
Im under the fertility team but will not help with ivf due to my age now. They have helped with the drugs as im needing clexaine also due to previous blood clotting and also have pcos.

Ok so this is a bit of my backstory, sooo this is my first time on clomid I'm a usual 28 day cycle. I had an ectopic pregnancy 6 years ago and had to remove part of my fallopian tube, my doctor says everything is fine and I should have no issue with getting pregnant. So i took clomid last month for the first time I just got my period yesterday (day 31) at first I was so excited to have a missed period then heartbroken when I say my little friend yesterday. Now today (day 2) of my period I have the worst cramps ever, very heavy period, and I broke out. Now I'm so confused since my cycle is obviously changing, I'm a ball of nerves 😟

am the same started first rounds of clomid I have a child 18 year old...why do I want to go back..lol.... I am 37. No health issues but havet becable to conceive. taken first course of clomid 9 feb and am 3days late reading comments deflated my excitement.
I also take 3 test and all neg.... so guess am going through the process due to meds ide effects.

Hi, i took clomid last january and feb. But i notice that it stopping my period. Last feb when i got my period i took clomid, the next day it stop my period. I called my doctor, she told me to take a pregnancy test. Which i did, but came out negative. Went for a check up also, (i have pcos by the way) she said i'm not responding in medicine. And this month i didn't get my period. I'm 1week late today. All i'm having was discharge. 😩 is it bcos of clomid?

Wow, this thread has been incredibly helpful. I’m 30 and been trying to conceive for over a year without luck. Testing for both my husband and myself show that there is no reason we should be having issues so my OBGYN put me on clomid. Took 50mg on cds 5-9 followed by estriol patches (still on). Started taking ovulation predictors on cd 12 and had sex on cd 14-16. Had an ultrasound to make sure I ovulated and that everything was proceeding as normal. Saw two enlarged follicles on the right side, but she didn’t seem confident. Anyway, my cycles are typically a VERY regular 35 days, but I’m late. All pregnancy tests are coming up bfn. At cd 37 I started having insomnia, mild cramping, and hot flashes (regular pms symptoms for me). I also started secreting clear, runny but sticky discharge like ewcm. I’m so confused and paranoid. I read that clomid can mess up your cycle (had to research that, my dr did NOT tell me) and that sometimes you need to take something to force a period. Called their office and they said they’d get back to me but haven’t. I feel so discouraged, because this is time sensitive. My dr said that if this first month didn’t take, she’d up my dose to 100 mg and we’d go the route of insemination. If I’m not pregnant, I’m impatient to move on to the next step and I just want my period to show up already. 😔

I stopped taking it had a and its given me ovarian cyst . I regret taking it as I only took it because my age I've had 3

Dis my 1st time taking clomiphene nd I haven't see my period yet. Today is my 33 days cycle nd according to all wot I hv learnt so far abt d drug, am supposed to see my period btw 27 - 30 days.. All d preg test I did is negative.. Am scared. Pls wot shud I do to induce my period or I shud still keep waiting?

I was on 100mg first cycle May, had to wait until the next because I did not mature the egg enough on the correct side as I only have 1 tube. June we tried again and failed IUI. I went 35 days no flow and negative test. Tested again Day 40 and negative test. Waited day 45 tested and got a faint positive!!! Waiting for my doctor to call me back so I can go in to confirm. Trying not to get my hopes to high due to my history but baby miracle blessings to all and hope this helps someone who was as confused as I am.

I'm so confused and just need help, I have PCoS and started on clomid last month . I am really irregular so had the tablets to force my period I come on on the 27/07 I then took clomid for 5 days from 24/07 to 29/07.

I took a positive clear blue ovulation on 18/08 had sex frequently that week .

There is still no sign of my period , I rested yesterday it was negative . Rang the gyno he said it's unlikely I'm pregnant but just feel so emotional , bloated , so tired , boobs are tingly with white dots appeared on nipples . I did have a brownish discharge on Sunday 5th September which I thought was my period but nothing .

I'm so confused as I just don't feel right in myself at all , has anyone else had a similar story and been pregnant ♥️

Hi everyone. I just finished my clomid (50mg) month and still don’t have a period or a positive pregnancy. I also have psoc and have irregular periods. Any idea why I haven’t got my period yet I’m late by 4 days ? I know I definitely ovulated. Iv got some symptoms also sore nipples, gas, bloating, mild cramping, aches and pains in my upper thighs, but I’m guessing it’s just the side effects from clomid I just can’t help but keep thinking I’m pregnant. HELP ANYONE ?

Update I’m now on day 36 still no sign of period. Getting the worsts cramps inlower stomach and my breasts and nipples are very sore. Haven’t done another pregnancy test as I really don’t wanna see that negative result.
