Ouch ouch ouch I am in pain. Woke up with proper sharp crampy pain. I think it's my stomach (tmi rather loose movement too) rather than uterus but can't distinguish really. Want to be curled in a ball not off to a full day meeting. Any thoughts?

Question...the cervical fluid you produce during sex as a lubricant, is that friendly mucus or hostile? I'm always dry to start, then get quite wet as we go on and am curious. TMI, anyone?!

Is it too late to still have hope? AF was due Sunday, but didn't show so I tested with FR on Tuesday which came back BFN - BUT AF is still not here? that's 5 days late. Is it worth re-testing if AF not here by the weekend or should I just sit tight and wait for AF? surely the FR would have picked something up in the last test?

Pirate sex! Awesome :) As far as I know the lubricant you produce during sex isn't cervical fluid but comes from glands near the opening of the vagina called Bartholin's glands. I couldn't find any useful info online but I think I've read in the past that it's mildly hostile to sperm so that only the "good" healthy sperm get through. But I take that with a pinch of salt - it's mildly acidic but sperm are alkaline in order to balance this out.

I had a really vivid, slightly disturbing dream last night that I was breastfeeding a baby for the first time in public. Must be babies on my mind! Gearing up for ovulation here but no signs of it's being on the horizon. CD13 so it should be soon. Wish I had some Conceive Plus as it sounds great, but a bit short notice for getting any delivered for today/tomorrow's use! Checked (surreptitiously, I'm beginning to think the checkout man recognises me) in Boots, but didn't see any.

5 days later Blockette? Test again! Do you have an idea when you ovulated? Could it have been a late one?

Can't tell you how relieved I am to say this...they found a sac and yolk. Massive sigh of relief! I'm going back for another routine scan next Friday when I'll be 6+2 (although I'm still not convinced I've got the dates right!). Thanks for your support ladies

Nicola I was told by GP that what you produce during and leading upto sex (eg foreplay) is seperate to normal CM. I guess that is why Zita recommends you to not go digging before or after sex isn't it? Or is she just talking about sperm mixing with cm. Anyway I don't believe that excitement goo could hinder your chances at all if that's what you want to know? I believe it's only saliva like we've talked about before.

Cervical fluid looking good, so it's all on for tonight now :D If it doesn't work this month, I'll buy some Conceive Plus. This month I have cheapie pg test strips from Amazon ready to go.

Pear, I'm so pleased and excited for you! Bet that's a big weight off your mind.

I'm still feeling totally rubbish but at least scary cramps have gone away and now it's just a killer headache. Don't know if it's the cold I've got or the hormone cocktail whizzing around my system but I am feeling crud. Hopefully it will soon pass.
