Oh phew Pear, you must be relieved.

Also on knicker watch...Wink

peardrop2 · 10/09/2012 16:05

Congratulations Hopeful! Good to see this thread move along at long last! Don't worry it's totally normal to be anxious, I've been worried sick for days now. Miscarriage is a very scary prospect when you've dreaming for something for so long, especially the ladies on MN who've actively tried everything and put so much into TTC! My doctor said this morning there is nothing I or he can do, we just have to keep our fingers crossed that things develop nicely and naturally, that's all we can do :-/

hopeful92 · 10/09/2012 16:08

Thanks, its just such a scary prospect. Cannot wait for other half to get home from work then I can show him the digi test that says "Pregnant 1-2" Eeek excited!!

cwtching · 10/09/2012 16:44

Aha good thinking Dulcet! Grin

Yay! That's great Hopeful... congratulations! You must be excited Smile X

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 10/09/2012 16:48

Agree with Dulcet - eat the lot!!! I'll share if you're feeling the strain!!! Lol!!
Congratulations Hopeful!!
Ive only just heard about chemical pregnancy, so not sure what one is - someone else on here will know tho I'm sure, they are a helpful and knowledgeable bunch!!!

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 10/09/2012 17:17

I think it's a very early miscarriage. An egg that is fertilised so gives a +ve pg test but that doesn't actual implant and stay.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 10/09/2012 17:18

Congrats hopeful.

Glad it is only a pooh problem, Peardrop! :-) xx

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 10/09/2012 17:31

I am actually in quite a lot of pain now, kind of right sided uterus / ovary pain. Making me feel a bit ill. It feels like someone digging into me :-(

I know it's not as bad / scary as your pain though, Peardrop.

Oh, and eat the whole chocolate orange! :-) Dulcet is right!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 10/09/2012 18:00

Glad you went doc pear. It is not stupid to be worried!!!
Chemical pg is when u get a bfp before your period is due and then later on you bleed and it looks like a normal period but it's in fact a mc. That's why they don't recommend u to test before period is due. Cause if u don't test early u don't even know you are having a mc! Apparently most women have 2/3 in their lifetime and dont even know about it!
It is normal to panic but try your best not to!

Thundercatsarego · 10/09/2012 18:36

Hi all. pear, that is good news after a scary few days, I'm sure it must be good to get the reassurance.

Congrats hopeful!

I don't remember any ewcm since starting TTC, altho now I've remembered it, I do recall having it in the past. So no idea if I'm even ovulating at all at the moment. Have had uterus cramping for last few days and was woken in the night with sharp pain in kidney area. Probably just my body telling me to drink less wine more water.

My last cycle was 32 days do I've shuffled myself down the list:

LisaC2611: Cycle 5 - BFP due - 10th Sept
GeordieRachel: Cycle 4 - BFP due - 11 Sept
DulcetMoansloves Nectarine: Cycle 4 - BFP due - 13th Sept
Nicola: Cycle 4 - BFP due - 15th Sept
Purplefairies: Cycle 4 - BFP due - 16th Sept
Blockette: Cycle 1 - BFP due - 16th Sept
Cwtching: Cycle 8 - BFP due - 18th Sept
Thundercatsarego: BFP due - 21st Sept
Lolcbcblemonlime: Cycle 2 BFP due - 22nd Sept
RaspberrysAndIcecream: BFP due end Sept / beg Oct

letskiwithisthing · 10/09/2012 18:47

Hi all and congrats to hopeful! More good news!

Glad you got yourself looked at Pear and hope you're feeling better tonight! Lots of cramps going on with nic and dulcet - fx for you both that they are BFP pains rather than the other variety!!

Rasp we seem to be at similar stages - I'm CD9 and waiting for ov too! Im hoping to sneak a BFP in sept but in reality that's unlikely - prob going to be October for me now!

LisaC2611: Cycle 5 - BFP due - 10th Sept

Is that like mint flavoured frozen chicken, pear? Sounds...interesting! Spaghetti Bol does sound good. Am hungry now...

peardrop2 · 10/09/2012 19:51

Hah hah chic mint!!! Just tried to cook mince brought on Friday and it's dark brown already :-/ same with lamb chops? Does butcher meat go off more quickly then? It was my first visit, doesn't seem worth it if things are going to go off so quick!!!

OP posts:
letskiwithisthing · 10/09/2012 20:02

Spag Bol was delicious as ever! Had some garlic bread too so feeling rather bloated now - no chocolate orange for me tonight! Time for a nice cuppa though and some tv with DH :)

peardrop2 · 10/09/2012 20:08

Oh I'm jeolous lets :-/ I'll have to buy more mince tomorrow. I have sent DH to get some chips as I ran out of options. He's gone off in such a huff lol

OP posts:
cwtching · 10/09/2012 20:10

Ha! Noooo don't encourage me! I'm trying to be good! I stuck to three slices of CO then went to the gym. I've just got back having made a pathetic attempt at exercise (so incredibly unmotivated and unfit despite watching all of those amazing olympians!). We have salad with a asparagus and feta cheese for dinner ... (see how good I'm being). But the thing is the chocolate orange is there, on the counter ... looking at me... I can almost taste its orangey chocolate goodness Shock

letskiwithisthing · 10/09/2012 20:12

Oh sorry Pear, can't beat fishop though - my DH is very partial to the chippie ... sure your DH will cheer up when there's a nice plate of chips in front of him :)

letskiwithisthing · 10/09/2012 20:13

Cwtching.. That chocolate orange would be long gone by now if it lived in my house Grin
