So how many of you have got a BFP on the day your AF was due?

Subject heading says it all really, see lots and lots of posts on here of people testing on the day their AF is due and getting a BFN, and some of those go on to get a bfp some days later. so, all the tests say you can test on the day your period is due, but how common is it to actually get a bfp on that day?

My AF is due today and as yet no sign and have some simptoms but am very conscious of not reading too much into them as have been here before. I want to leave it till the weekend to test, but part of me wants to test and get it over and done with so I can either be happy that I'm pg or wait for my AF to arrive. I have lots of early HPT's obtained with my isisscope so it won't cost me a fortune, but I don't want to do a test if there's more chance of getting a bfn than a bfp even if I'm pregnant.

I got bfp with DD 5days before AF was due. We were TTC and I knew when I had ovulated and when I was due etc.

With DS I didnt get a bfp until I was 9wks pg.

Yes here too. With ds's 3 and 4 I tested 2 days before af was due and still got a BFP - must be down to the individual's hormones I guess!

I think its always bloody bfn if you're eagerly awaiting a bfp
With ds I was on the pill so never tested until about 4 weeks past my af date, as jeans were getting tights boobs were on fire.With dd we'd been trying for about 2 weeks, af was due so tested and bfp.
I'm leaving it fomr now on as in Dec and Jan I had BFP on due date or before and went on to have miscarriages, when I would never have known I was pregnant if I'd waited, which I'd have preferred tbh
Same again this month af 2 days late. One + test and tons of - ones
Who bloody knows...

Yes i did with my dd, but i am pg atm and didn't test pos+ till 4 days late.

I got a very, very faint line on the day I was due, so I waitied until AF was 3 days late and got a proper BFP.

With DD1 didn't test til 10 days late. With DD's 2 & 3 and a pg I lost I tested day I was due af and got bfp.
Got faint bfp with normal test day before af due, and an obvious bfp with first response later that day with current pg.

I did with ds2. It was very obviously positive. Didn't test till 2 days after AF due with ds1 though.

I got faint bfp 3 days before af due, and did quite a few more tests over a week to try and get a darker line. Line never got darker, but all tests were positive. I got GP to test for me everntually to confirm it, and even they did 2 tests, but 8 days after af due they said I was definitely pg.

well seems mixed then. Am on CD29 and still no sign of AF but am sorta simptomatic, nausious at certain times of day plus tender breasts, and this morning burst into tears over some programme on tv - I never do that! Despite all that have convinced myself I'm not pregnant as have been here so many times before and AF has arrived, that I really want to leave it till Sunday or so before I test. HAving said that, the urge to test is becoming increasingly stronger.

Wannabe, it was day 29 for me yesterday too and no sign of AF. I had been feeling nauseous for a few days and having strange pains that didn't feel like AF. I was convincing myself I was pg even though I knew I wasn't deep down. I did a test yesterday, BFN and lo and behold, guess who arrived 10 mins later!! So, if this month is the one, its an Xmas baby for me!! Hope your result is completely different to mine- good luck xx
