Thought I would start a September thread as I loved being on the August one so much. Just a pity August wasn't my month!

Anyhoo onwards and upwards. Hoping this will be a lucky month for me and everyone else hoping for BFPs

I'm on cd7 at the mo and just started using the clearblue opk to feed my poas addiction til ov :) I think I'll be ov around the 23rd and hoping for my BFP on 6 september as a fabulous birthday present.

weechops - cycle 3 - BFP due 6 sep

You had horrible dizzy before, didn't you kNic? Whats that all about? Sounds nasty.

Ok I'll make the Brew for us. Could do with a leg stretch anyway. I had proper heartburn last night and smiled to myself through the pain. Still got uterus twinges/cramps. Are you all still with me with those too?

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 11:25

How many dpo is everyone??
I want twinges Sad
I'm dpo 5

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 11:32

Yes on internal pains, Thunder.

Me and hormones don't get on, hence feeling weird most of the time. :-/

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 11:32

Hi kitty
I don't know mine! If v crude calendar app is right I could be 8dpo today but who knows!

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 11:35

Know what you mean about hormones kNic. I'm amazed that all these supposed symptoms are probably just normal cycle for me and I've never noticed them before.

Lorelei353 · 13/09/2012 11:36

I'm not dpo at all yet. Still waiting to ovulate. Have no signs (cm is lacking at the mo) and not positive on OPKs yet. Hoping for today which is day 12 of my cycle - but bear in mind I've had two 25 day cycles since coming off Cerazette so if I have the same this month, today would make it a 14 day luteal phase.

Working all this out is making my head hurt!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 12:14

It's crap, isn't it Thunder? I much prefer the flatness of hormonal birth control!

11DPO here.

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 12:18

Yeah it totally does my head in! I'm trying to work out a way of not obsessing thinking about it so much.

I've got a potential booze up this weekend so don't know whether to bother poas tomorrow for a clear conscience or whether it's not worth it!

fashionvictim · 13/09/2012 12:20

Yep, still cramping but much less intense. kitty I think i'm 6dpo (I count from EWCM, I don't do OPK - yet!) and have had twinges since the big O. But I always get pains at ov and in the week before AF...there isn't much time between the 2 for me Sad

I've been dizzy and thirsty kNic so I must definitely be pg too!

Any sore boob's yet anywhere?? I got nuthin...

fashionvictim · 13/09/2012 12:23

thunder I've got a birthday meal tomorrow night and I'm thinking the same thing... although I think it might be too early, at least I would have a clear conscience.

secretly hoping the smell of wine will be too much for my new pregnancy-heightened sense of smell

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 12:24

My boobs start to sting every now and then, fashion, but then fail to get worse (thank god after last month!), so they clearly aren't joining in the fun this month. Yet!

I try not too think too hard about it, Thunder and fail miserably!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 12:26

Oh, I normally would POAS before drinking. Next month I won't though, if not up duffed this month, as I'm going to get drunk at my wedding, then POAS the day after if my cycles are where I think they will be! Baby won't be sharing a blood supply then anyway :+)

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 12:27

Nope, my boobs only hurt if I prod them, which is probably normal!

Look at us, fashion, we agreed not to obsess or test til the 20th and now we're thinking of poas tomorrow! Terrible!

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 12:52

Fashion you may be less days then sorry to dissapoint, I had EWCM fri, + opk the sat and cound dpo from the day after that and I may be less one if it was 2 days after surge, could the twinges have been you oving?

fashionvictim · 13/09/2012 12:59

I know thunder I am driving myself nuts!! But.....as this is my first time, I could do with the practice of poas !! Grin

I'm nervous now.

fashionvictim · 13/09/2012 13:11

Hey kitty good to know about the timing of + on the OPK. I got EWCM on Friday and had really bad pain until Sat night (as is usual for me). Then had completely diff CM on Monday (which I read would indicate Ov was over??). So I guess I could be 4, potentially 5dpo.

The twinges have been continuous from Mon/Tues, and are different from the weekend, but could be anything. I'm under no illusion that it's too early really...

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 13:54

Sounds like sat was the pop of the egg for you then, I'd say dpo5 defo for you but the earliest you'd probably be getting a + would be tue so I wouldn't waste a rest just go out and enjoy yourself Smile

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 13:55

Fair enough about the wedding, kNic, you'll be in such a lovely whirlwind by then you won't even think about poas. Nice one!

You still going to poas tomorrow then fashion?

At the risk of being pessimistic, I have a question about opks as I'm considering using them next month. When do you start monitoring on them and how many sticks do you need? Any clues very welcome!

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 13:55

I had my twinges very early when I was pg last month ( ended in mc Sad) they were like little pulls and pinches
Sounds positive for you!

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 14:00

Thunder they come in a box of 7 usually and tell you which say to start testing based on your cycle, you can also by a box of 20cb that you start on cd6 to check if you've no idea or buy them very cheep on eBay etc and test to your hearts content, I'd maybe use the cb one just the 7 if you've an idea to start as they are easy to use and you know the result is positive with a Smile then switch to cheeper when you know you've got a good idea, if you need to obviously Wink

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 14:08

Ahh thats great kitty, thank you so much. I've seen cb 7 ones (I think) in my local supermarket, so may try them. Undecided as yet as OH and I are supposedly being very casual about it all so he doesn't get too scared, so don't know if it would be difficult to be subtle about or would just put too much pressure on. Dtd is precious enough, don't want to jeopardise anything!!

kittykatskumkwat · 13/09/2012 14:56

Thunder I dh does know I use them it I don't show/ tell him it is easy enough to not tell them and do it and rather then go running in going I've got a Smile I've got a Smile we need to dtd like me you could just initiate it that night, after a few months you see a pattern anyway so you'd know but great if your not sure especially if you want to appear relaxed to them, there's times we've only done it 2 times a month, better at the right time then try to initiate it regularly when your both tired ?

fashionvictim · 13/09/2012 14:57

Thanks kitty I'm so new to this, getting other peoples opinions is really helpful. I'm sorry about your mc Sad

Thunder Are you?!? I might get a 2pk and do one tomorrow to indulge the crazy practice and save the other until next week Wink

When do you get married kNic ? I know you have probably already said...

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 15:05

13th October, fashion :-) Exciting!!

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2012 15:10

Yeah that sounds like a great idea, kitty, (the using Smile to inform initiation/ learning about cycles, not the other way, which wouldn't work at all!) hmm I might well give it a try- would be great to have a bit more understanding about when ov happens.

fashion I've got a cheapy in my drawer at home and it's calling to me still undecided but now the thought is there, the seed has been planted! or not, we shall see!

If I am 9dpo tomorrow that is pretty early though...
