Fertilityfriend says that I should POAS 4 days after AF due. I'm confused...help?

Please be gentle with me. I am totally new to all of this. And I am a bit thick.

I just started temping 19 days ago (I started on day 8 of my cycle). Since then, I have (apparently) ovulated, and I got a score of "good" for the timing of dtd (Or "bd", as they put it. God, I hate that.). And now, I wait. Ugh.

According to their calculations, though, I shouldn't test until the 17th even though my period is due on the 13th (-ish. I have 27-28 day cycles). Am I missing something really obvious here?

I think it's just to avoid false BFNs tbh. I would prov still test the day ad was due when I first started ttc, by 14 months I'd given up even testing, now am 21 weeks with a little wriggler who's keeping me awake

Hi. Because you are new to FF you don't have much data there and in turn the testing date is very conservative. Once it has a few regular cycles it will start putting the test day closer to the day your period is due.

Oh, I see----they expect me to be reasonable and calm at a time like this. How silly of them!

Perhaps I will try to be conservative about this. I am really trying to stay as mellow as possible through this whole process, so not getting too anxious and testing right away sounds like a like good idea. We shall see what really happens...
