An AMH of 0.07 - chances of conception?

I'm 42.5; have an 18 month old baby. Just before I conceived DS my cycles and whatnot were going weird and tests showed that my AMH (then) was 0.9 and my FSH was high. No one thought I'd conceive then, but I did ( a day after the fertility consultant dammed me to childlessness).

19 months on, my hormone results about 4 months ago showed them all to be abnormal and out of whack. I've perimenopausal, for sure, and have been taking a hormone lozenge (prescribed by a specialist in natural bio-identical hormone balancing) to level me out. My AMH test just before Xmas was 0.07 - big drop.

I am very torn about having a second child anyway (early menopause? Two young kids? My age? My current tiredness with one?) but what are my chances do you ladies think anyway?

Am I stupid to even allow myself to 'feel torn'? That there is no possibility?

TIA

Hi there! Congratulations on your baby. Only you and your partner can decide whether your family is complete or not; and also how well you will manage, whether you will have help, etc. Just out of curiosity....as we have a diagnosis of unexplained infertility, were you on hormone replacement therapy when you conceived your first too? I hope you find an answer to your quest soon, as, like us, your body clock will be ticking quite loudly- should you wish to expand your family. We are childless at the moment. We suffered a miscarriage in March 2011- nothing since then. We are still searching for the secret to just GET pregnant again! It's a frustrating and lonely journey. I hope we find happiness soon. X
