Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 02/08/2012 19:19

sunshine I was just about to say the same Smile

Jenjen85 · 02/08/2012 19:33

whenshe Sunshine I was thinking the same but not wanting to get my hopes up! How long does implantation bleeding last for? When would I get symptoms? I have been rather tired all week

berri · 02/08/2012 19:37

Could someone advise of the etiquette re the lists on here? First cycle for DC2 and not been into this section of MN before my first post a couple of days ago...do you just add yourself and copy/paste?

woody17 · 02/08/2012 19:39

hope everyone is ok. Has anyone been watching the Olympics?

bodi · 02/08/2012 19:42

Loving the olympics, it is distracting me from poas - but I am only on CD3 and was not supposed to worry about OPKs this month. lol

NicolaHazel · 02/08/2012 19:48

Hi Berri, yes just copy, paste and add :-)

And we've been watching quite a lot of the Olympics, partly through choice and partly through nothing else being on! Cracking Team GB day today though!

berri · 02/08/2012 20:03

Thanks NicolaHazel :)

FX for everyone and big congrats to all the lucky ones so far!

Hi everyone, was on the list to test on 4th but AF arrived today! Feeling positive about it as it was a shorter cycle than I expected and only our first cycle of TTC - feel I've got a better grasp of cycle for this time around now and looking forward to lots of DTD again :o Have added myself to the end of the month as may sneak in but more likely to be Sept for me now! Good luck to everyone else, will be keeping an eye on here and my fx for you all :)

My dh is passed out Sad

Might try and wake him up Grin

worriedmum100 · 03/08/2012 07:42

Morning ladies

I have a stinking cold and work is busy and stressful as hell but does that stop me indulging in barmy symptom spotting at least a week before I should test? Of course it doesn't!

So what have I noticed so far....

-Sore boobs
-Slightly darker nipples
-Weird pulling pain in groin
-Nausea ( although have been fooled by this before. I think the surge in progesterone - is that the right hormone? post ov makes me feel sick. Does anyone else get this?)
-Bit dizzy and lightheaded.

Why is it that there never normally seems to be enough hours in the day but when you start ttc every day feels like a lifetime?

jessiethecowgirl · 03/08/2012 08:31

ooo worried I'm totally symptom spotting too, and I'm also only 7 dpo!! I've experienced:

-dizziness and lightheaded
-extremely tired
-tingly boobs
-metallic taste in mouth

Likely just wishful thinking and/or the the start of a horrendous AF, but its nice to play the symptom spotting game anyways!

Also watching loads of olympics here too. Excited for the Athletics part to start.
Sorry for those who AF have come. FX for next cycle!

woody17 · 03/08/2012 09:19

Symptom spotting is impossible not to do! When I did fall pg, I think that for just over a week before AF was due I was very very tired. The tiredness got worse and worse. Then a few days before I tested, I was very nauseous and boobs hurt a lot.

I finally got BFN today after mc so am ready to ttc properly! We have been DTD EOD for the last 2 weeks (which was been nice). Hopefully I will ov soon. Just going to keep DTD EOD for the next few weeks.

Sheep2345 · 03/08/2012 09:24

BFN for me but still no AF
think I?m going to go insane!

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 09:28

Sheep did the nurse say AF might be delayed post coil removal?

OP posts:
winkle2 · 03/08/2012 09:33

Managed to dtd last night and it could be an Olympic record for the fastest time ever Grin. Blink and you might have missed it haha! We were so knackered but we had to dtd as we missed last night. So far we have DTD CD 10 & 13. Monitor still saying high - this time last month it had peaked...

Jenjen85 · 03/08/2012 09:42

Well ladies I'm out for August :-( Af arrived this morning (5days early) but hey ho there's always next month!! Fx for everyone waiting for a BFP

jessiethecowgirl · 03/08/2012 09:53

woody thats good that you finally got your post-mc -ve .. who knows, you might Ov very soon!! So keep at it! :)

sorry to hear you're out Jen

shineypeacock · 03/08/2012 10:07

Hello ladies,

This is my first post so be gentle! Ive been reading this thread for a couple of weeks and congrats to all who have got BFP!

We are on cycle 2 of ttc and i just feel that i am pregnant, been symptom spotting and have had lower abdominal pain, sore boobs, metallic taste in my mouth and feel dizzy/sick!!

Not due AF until the end of next week and am going mad waiting to POAS, infact did poas yesterday and was surprisingly a BFN!!

Please help keep me sane until at least Wednesday when my DH says i can test again.

Shiney x

tinkfairy · 03/08/2012 10:12

well af turned up bright and early today never had a 29 day cycle im a little sad but got to keep trying

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 03/08/2012 10:36

Sorry tink and jen (Jen I thought things were sounding promising there).

Welcome peacock your symptoms sound good but if your af is not due till end of next week the symptoms have come really early. Fx for you.

Sheep2345 · 03/08/2012 11:55

newbie my GP said that everything would go back to normal straight after removal, not sure if whats been going on since then can be classed as normal!

I normally have a 28 day cycle but post-coil removal I've had:
+ve OPK on CD20
AF was due 28th July
Am now on CD 34 with no AF syptoms and a BFN this morning

time to reach for the wine

Newbie2 · 03/08/2012 12:04

Sheep it feels like our bodies do the opposite to what the GP says Hmm All very frustrating!

try web md ovulation calculator too. it has been very accurate for me. DS conceived first time when I was 37 using that method. it takes last three cycles and projects the highest fertile days. now trying for second... following two 12wk mcs. AF is late by three days and this never happens, also though i had a spot of implantation bleeding end of last week.... but four boots pregnancy kits say no... could i be pregnant?
