Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

Just checking in really, haven't said anything here for a while so thought I would wave July goodbye here and usher August into the thread with some BFPs!

So come on ladies, let's make July look bad!

newbie2 im presuming it's more or less the same method of putting in taking out as Mirena coil. Putting in hurt a little bit (reminded me of a mild contraction, not exactly painful more uncomfortable) but was fine to go to work straight afterwards. Taken out -i didn't actually feel anything felt more during a smear

Changing my dates cause I have the power to change my cycle length at whim flipping stupidly early ERTD, only had 11dpo, I was conned I tells ya

Oops should have said in post earlier: BFP due 27th Aug, first cycle. It seems soooo long away but it'll be great to see how everyone else gets on - everything crossed for us all!

Hello August!!!! Goodbye Smelly July!!!

Hello August, hope it brings us bountiful BFPs!!

I am not testing tomorrow- postponing until the 4th unless AF gets me. Will change the list later. My spotting that wasn't even heavy enough to be spotting has gone away, just hoping there could be a bean busy implanting!

Tried again with FMU and definite line! Very faint still, but stronger than yesterday and definitely blue!

I could see it clearly at 3+ minutes. I showed DP at about 15 minutes, but it had faded so very faint indeed now (is this normal?). i can still see it but he's not convinced - mind you he looked at it in a dark room, without his glasses and he's got a migraine.

I can still see it there, but he is waiting to get excited till I test again tomorrow, which is a little frustrating to say the least!

Seriously though, doing the sticks really helped I think. After 5 cycles I was starting to get worried that there was something wrong. But with the sticks it meant we definitely got the right time, knowing when tonight was actually the night was very helpful! Think we were perhaps a bit too relaxed about it before.

I really want to tell DS! But I guess it's not fair until we get through the early bit, is it?

newbie2 having the coil taken out is a brezze, over in minutes
Having it put in was not terrbile but not the nicest experience. I seem to be a bit crooked internally as the doctor kindly commented three times that she couldn't find my cervix!
I would recoomend it though as its 5 years of not thinking about taking a pill or worrying a condom has split! The only thing it, it may make AF slightly heavier which is not good if you are already heavy!

My friend just gave me an early response test. Nothing faint about that line! Definitely BFP!

I have ZERO patience for this too, I don't even OV for another 5 or 6 days and I can't stop wondering what will happen, how on earth can you 'just not think about it', which is the advice everyone gives for success!

By the way, do you tend to dtd eod even when ov? Or every day over then?

Any news from dexi or anyone else early on the list?

sunshine I'm pushing my testing day back until Saturday- hoping that spotting is not the start of AF but the sign of something more hopeful but we will see ..
